The only negative is that you have to fill slowly with fuel so you don't overfill, you can't see the level of fuel as you pour. Other than that great value, looks good with no assembly required. We bought a ceramic tile to put under it to protect the table it sits on, but wasn't necessary because it doesn't get very hot on the bottom.

The other reviews are correct, this only burns for one hour. But it is beautiful and works great, easy to put together.

I feel this is a good value for what it is. It does produce a beautiful fire that puts out a good amount of heat as well as provides just the right amount of ambiance. I like it's size, as well as that it is safe to use inside a house and on a counter top. I think it would work great in a chimera, or an old antique gas stove that may not work anymore. And should work in a fire place that you may not wanna burn wood in or convert to natural gas. I would even use it in a Hibachi that I wanted to use as a fire place. If you have children though, I would not recommend using this or leaving it unattended with children as it has no safety features to prevent a child from being burned. I did use this with 70% rubbing alcohol and it did fine. It does not seam easy to fill, but there maybe another way to fill it other then I did. I just do not know that there is. But I am happy, and this is for use as a backup heat source if I experience another deep freeze like I had in Texas this year.

Only has a 0.3L fuel capacity and 1-hour maximum burn, according to manufacturing sticker. (This was not disclosed in Amazon product description but I'll try to add it). I was looking for a unit with a 1.5L capacity and must have gotten this one confused with others I looked at. Says shipping weight is 23.2 lbs - not even close. The steel is hollow, open under the base, and the whole thing weighs about 1.5 lb. The black powder coat was rubbed off the inside corners of the black base where the steel insert goes (see my pic). The marks were small enough that I could have overlooked them if it hadn't been for the low utility of this product.Says the product is stuffed/filled with glass fiber to help regulate the flame. In the container where you pour the fuel, there are holes where the fuel will seep further into the container. Looking through the holes it appears empty but I can't refute the glass fiber claim since the unit is sealed and I can't see completely inside.One reason I thought well of this unit was they said it was constructed based on German TUV DIN-4734 standard and passed an impact test, tilting test, and Co2 emission test. However the product does not contain the certification mark "DIN-Geprüft", DIN CERTCO (for info on this certification, see http://www.dincertco.de/en/fireplaces_for_liquid_fuels.html).Sticker on glass says to read the instruction manual but none was included. Absolutely fantastic tabletop fireplace. I've used this both outside and inside. When outside the wind etc makes the flames jump high...sometimes about 18" which is fun to watch. Inside it stays at or about at the height of the glass. I purchased a 12 pack of the Moda flame fuel and that seemed to work great.It adds a wonderful ambiance to everyday activities. Put it on the table during game night, on the counter during movies and I put it on the counter while my wife took a bath to create a relaxing atmosphere for her.For the small price it was definitely a worthwhile purchase. Just use common sense when using it...don't put it under anything that may burn, don't blow it out...use the included fireplace snuffer, Don't add fuel while it is lit, lastly don't pick it up until 15 minutes after you put it out. Follow those simple guidelines and I'm sure you'll love it!

My fuel hadn't arrived so I use 75% rubbing alcohol. I managed to achieve a beautiful, long lasting flame. I just looooove it!!

Very poorly made. The top plate does not mate well with the fuel tank. As a result flames will start burning around the corners of the top plate. That was pretty scary especially because the provided extinguisher only covers the wick. Fortunately I was able to blow out the fire like a giant birthday candle.

Not gonna heat the house but Provides decent warmth 3 to 5 feet away. Do not overfill as fuel will burn on the top tray and that's not what you want, you want the wick to burn and keep the fuel lit beneath it. Lasts about 90 minutes. Then let it cool down and refuel. I used it all last winter in my man cave, looking forward to it again this year.

Dangerous item. Do not order this. Could cause a nasty accident. Luckily I was sitting far away when the glass shattered.

The media could not be loaded. I love this little fire table. I have used it several times, and enjoy the nice little warm ambience. Set up is easy, it looks sleek and modern, and I like the smaller size and portability (compared to other units that need a propane tank.) I added some purchased fire glass to make it a little more elegant. Recommended.
