I'm new to tumbler making. Its a hobby for me. I had one tumbler but soon realized you need two at minimum when making these for fun or as a business. I do not write many reviews. This item gets 5 stars from me. Ready to use out the box. The extra drying stick is huge help. Its quiet as a mouse. Noise free. One speed only. Gets the job done. Sturdy wooden material. Will be my main spinner until I purchase again. Likely will .

Turner works good

This is the second one I've purchased of this exact turner. I love that it arrived just ready to use. Plug it up, put the foam on and go! It's not noisy at all. The other one I've had about a month and it's almost always turning.In comparison, the one I purchased at the same time as my first one of this turner is junk. I got it from my local hobby store and it cost me 10 more dollars and I've had to repair it, it's noisy, it sporadically stops all together.This orasant turner is reliable, easy to use, and seems to hold up well. I do wish I could get it to change directions.

Update: This turner has stopped spinning. The rod (thing the sponge is on) is turning but the cup itself is not turning. This has messed up the hob i was doing. I don't know why it has stopped.Con.The sponge is too big. I have to force my cups on it, should have sent 2 diff size sponge. I love how well made this product is! I’ve been busy at work creating beautiful tumblers and water bottles for my friends and family since receiving my turner. I will say that I noticed the screw that holds the wooden rod that spins began getting hot after spinning for two hours. However, I really do not have much to complain about it runs smoothly and quietly. This is a great product for those just starting out making cups because you get a great quality product for a decent price. Now I just have to see how long it lasts me!

Bought this as my first ever cup turner & thought it was a great purchase. It's very sturdy and comes assembled (aside from the drying stick). It's super quiet and spins the cups at a good speed. Also comes with 2 huge foam things to insert into your cups. I'll be updating my review after a couple months of use. Definitely recommend it though!

I bought this back in August and read all of the reviews so I was very excited to get it and start spinning cups. My first cup came out great, the second cup I started to notice some rippling and now my 3rd and 4th cups have significant ripples on them. The second cup on my last layer of epoxy it fell off the turner in the middle of the night (same size as the first cup but the foams were noticeably worn after one use) so when I checked on it a few hours later my cup was dried to the table and unfortunately didn’t make it. Upon reviewing my turner more closely it looks like I’m missing the arm screw and one of the dowels has a very bad uneven turn so I’m not sure if that would help and if that was likely the cause of the eventual fall of the second cup. (I never let them run alone after that).I had really high hopes for this turner but it appears mine may have been defective based on other reviews.

I absolutely love this turner! I had purchased a spin-it and it was absolutely noisy, I put one coat of epoxy on my cup and after sanding my cup off the turner and reapplying it wouldn’t stay. So I started looking for turners on Amazon as during quarantine nothing was open and like hell was I going to get another damn spin-it POS machine, so I grabbed this one. I am so glad I did! It’s so quiet!!!! I also love the fact it has a built in drying rack for another cup, and because I started making more cups I bought a second one in less than a 2 weeks time. I have let it spin over a combined 24 hour period and it is still working like a champ with no odd noises or falls. Only thing I can say is when you put your foam on for the first time pay attention unlike I didn’t do and shove the foam all the way (I learned for my second one to be gentle and pay attention). I actually would love to have a 3rd one but I’ll just have to wait until they come back into stock!
