Terra Hiker Camping Cookware, Nonstick, Lightweight Pots, Pans with Mesh Set Bag for Backpacking, Hiking, Picnic

 This is the nicest little camp cookware set I have owned. This has lots of pieces to it that nestle inside each other and all fit nicely in the mesh bag.The mesh bag has a nice feel to it and is a heavier material then a lot of others I have had. The opening opens and closes really nice and smooth and it opens up with a larger hole then the cookware so that it's easy to get the set in and out of the bag. The mesh bag allows for air to get around the set if you bag it up after you wash it you can hang in on a tree and it will dry out.The frying pan is a good size and you could easily cook for a couple people out of it. the pot is a bit smaller in width then the pan so that it nestles inside the frying pan. It is a good size and could easily cook some soup on boil water for cooking or dishes. both pans have curved handles that nest up against the pans so they sit nicely inside the mesh bag.One thing that sets this set apart is the kettle. You can boil water for hot chocolate or tea in it. If you put coffee grounds in a filter and tie it off then throw it in there you can make coffee.Other accessories that go with this kit is a wooden spoon and a plastic ladle as well as three small bowls and a cleaning sponge.Over all this is a very nice kit.

My main concern about this was if the "non-stick" aspect was Teflon or not. I confirmed with the manufacturer that the non-stick is purely the smooth hard-anodized coating on the aluminum, and now that I've received it I can confirm there's no Teflon coating that's going to burn off or poison you if it gets overheated. It's wonderfully lightweight and nests together with enough room in the small pot to allow for stowing a pocket rocket style stove and some extra utensils.My other concern was the handles. They appear to be some sort of plastic, but despite putting the small pot on my Whisperlite Universal running at full blast with the flames wrapping up around the sides of the pot a bit I haven't melted the handles and they stayed cool enough to comfortably hold. I'd say if you stuck it in/over a campfire the handles may present an issue, but these really weren't made for that anyway.

Not going to lie, I didn't have High Hopes with this. It's extremely lightweight, and felt flimsy to me. We used it on an open flame when we went camping at the Grand Canyon a couple weeks ago. I cook beans in the pot. I fried an egg in the pan, and everything cooked wonderfully. It cleaned up nicely to. No scratches no stain black. They worked out perfectly. I'm impressed.

Used once and warped. They are not non stick. Complete waste of money.I bought these for an extended camping trip. I used the small pan to make hot dogs and warm meat and veggies. I used medium low heat for about 30 minutes to cook both.The pan was warped after the first use. Pictures attached from post first use. I did my very best to clean with the camp kitchen and couldn’t get most of it off.The handles kept falling back to the collapsed position. The lid cannot be removed without some sort of tongs or grabber when it is hot. It is impossible to grab!They were easy to travel with. Although once I took everything out and unwrapped it, I couldn’t get it to fit back in unless I kept the spoon out.I would return if I could, but my return window has expired and I’m still traveling. I ended up with a regular non stick pot and pan set from Walmart to finish the trip with. Very disappointed with this product.

Fun cook set. Lightweight and yet has a large pot for meals to share. Love the kettle, perfect for heating water for coffee, tea, cider etc. I personally like that i can have a separate pot for hot water and I can keep it warm in my cozy while making breakfast, and not have to worry about running out of hot water. It also comes with a lot of great accessories for cleaning, eating, and cooking.

My children and I love to camp and fish. We normally only make hot dogs and s'mores on the open fire and we thought it would be fun to be able and cook some other things outdoors. This is a nice little set that has a kettle, a pot, a frying pan with the lid, a ladle and a couple of bowls to use. It all stores together neatly and is very compact. It even has a carrying case to keep it in. It is not for a large family but will easily cook for a couple of people. If you have more you may want to cook 2 or 3 times :) It would be perfect for a backpacker as it is lightweight and would easily fit in the pack. It works well and I was surprised as we had never tried outdoor cooking before. We had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the experience. I will definitely keep this with my camping stuff so we can experiment more next time we go in July.

The little pans were exactly what we needed for our trip! The kettle held enough for two full cups of coffee. The skillet cooked 5 pieces of (folded up) bacon at a time! Perfect for our group! The only thing I didn't like is that when the handles folded out, they didn't stick together. It would be perfect if they were magnetized. But it didn't keep us from using them and storing them in a small space!

It took me a while to review this set because we had to actually get out into the wilderness to use it. I am so happy! I was skeptical, so I brought along our old set just in case and I never even had to take it out. We got home and the old set went right into the recycling. This set is great! It is sturdy, easy to clean and it heats up really quickly... and then it stays hot! No worries about food poisoning on this trip at all! I will definitely be recommending this set to all my camping friends (in fact, we already have!) and will probably be purchasing a set or two for Christmas!
