Excellent Quality Shaving Soaps with Outstanding Value
I purchased the assortment pack that includes Bergamot, Sweet Tobacco, Majestic Oud, and Spiced Vanilla scents, and I'm thoroughly impressed with the entire collection.Packaging & Presentation: The soaps arrive in attractive packaging that feels premium and well thought out. The presentation definitely gives these products a quality feel right from the start.Scent Variety: All four scents in the assortment are exceptional. Each has its own distinct, pleasant aroma that's sophisticated without being overwhelming. The variety gives you options depending on your mood or the occasion - from the fresh Bergamot to the rich Sweet Tobacco and exotic Majestic Oud, with the warm Spiced Vanilla rounding out the collection beautifully.Performance: These soaps produce exactly what you want from a quality shaving soap: a rich, thick, creamy foam that builds easily on your beard. The lather provides excellent coverage and cushioning, which translates to a very smooth, comfortable shave. The foam consistency is perfect - not too thin or too thick.Shaving Experience: The actual shave quality is impressive. The soap provides good lubrication and protection, resulting in a clean, comfortable shave without irritation. My razor glides smoothly, and I get excellent results every time.Value: Considering the price point, this is an outstanding value. You're getting premium shaving soap performance at a very reasonable cost. The quality easily rivals much more expensive alternatives.Overall: Highly recommend this shaving soap collection. Whether you're new to traditional wet shaving or looking for a quality soap that won't break the bank, this assortment delivers excellent performance, great scents, and tremendous value.

Fine soap and an even finer company!
I had minor issues initially with these shaving soaps, but I have to tell you that I have never seen such attentive customer service on any product on Amazon that compares at all to the care this company takes about its product. I have come around to respecting the product line for this as well as its shaving qualities. Four soaps came in the pack. I liked the scent of three and I am gifting the fourth one to someone who is just getting into wet shaving with a double edge safety razor. I use a Merkur R89 on most days, which has replaced my Edwin Jagger DE as go to razor and when I have the luxury of some extra time, I alternate between a Feather Artist Club and three straight edge razors, a Thiers Issard Spanish Point, a Dovo Bismark, and a Ralf Aust custom designed razor. I have been using fine shaving instruments for about 12 years now.On to the soap ... they all foam up to a good consistency which in every case with the above hardware, provides good glide, cushion and protection. I have yet to nick myself using this soap. There are eight different flavors so you are bound to find something to your liking. The scents are nice and do not linger, so if you want something that will not conflict with colognes, aftershaves and even deodorants, these are a good choice. At first the pucks seemed to go quickly but I realized I was just applying too much soap. A little bit of these pucks goes a long way and I was throwing away a lot of good foam at the beginning, or rather I used the foam to exfoliate my entire face with the leftovers. Now, I just use less. The last item I'd like to comment on is the price. Shaving soaps run the gamut in pricing and you can burn funds quickly purchasing some of them. Viking, however, is priced very reasonably, so that there is little excuse for not having these as part of your regular shaving arsenal. If you like variety in a fine reasonable priced product, these are definitely a way to go.Ps. Thank you to Anne at Viking Customer Care for her impressive follow-up.

Pretty Good Soap:
I recently tried the Viking Revolution Shaving Soap, and overall, I was quite impressed. The soap lathers beautifully when used with a shaving brush, providing a smooth and comfortable shave. It glides effortlessly over the skin, minimizing irritation and ensuring a close cut. However, I did find the scent to be a bit too strong for my liking. While it has a nice fragrance, it can be overwhelming, especially if you prefer a more subtle scent during your grooming routine.Despite the scent, the performance of the shaving soap is excellent, making it a solid choice for anyone looking to elevate their shaving experience. If you don't mind a bolder fragrance, this could be a great addition to your shaving kit!

Excellent And A Great Value
Great Shaving Mug Soap. I've read some of the reviews. One guy saying the scent is weak. And the package was hard to open.. Cry me a river. I'm a Retired Professional Barber. I've used many. And I do mean many. Different brands varieties etc.. I've purchased this package at least 4X. Since I discovered it. The different scents are meant to be soothing. Not overwhelming. But some cakes are stronger in scent; Than others. Sandlewood may be lighter than the Ceder&Pine.. So there ya go.. This is an excellent long lasting "designer/gourmet" shaving soaps. And For The Price!! Hard to beat..

Better than gel for shaving
Let me say upfront that I do NOT have a heavy beard. I normally shave 3-4 times per week. I’m retired so a little grubbiness doesn’t bother me. These bars provide plenty of shaving soap, and have a pleasant scent to them. I simply place the bar under warm water for a few seconds and then rub it between my hands to generate the soap before applying to my face. I usually do this twice to make sure my whiskers are soft before shaving.I wanted to buy a cup and brush but never got around to buying them. It works well by using the technique I mentioned. Also, these last a good long time, although the fragrance begins to fade after time. And, they are much cheaper than buying cans of shaving gel. Try them, you won’t be disappointed.
