my wife and I use these reels for crab snaring on the oregon coast, they help us cast further and reel smooth and fast with ease, even when we have 2-3 dungeness snared!

PROs..A quality reel for the price. Smooth, precise anti reverse, strong drag, long casting, high capacity line ( I spooled it with 65lb braid, it held 300 yds)CONs.. handle and reel support at seat flex a little while reeling and fighting fish, also not a sealed reel.It costs 100 bucks so it's not high end but it does perform! 1st day using it I caught this 5ft shark in high surf and rip current, it performed amazingly well. No problems, drag worked great. Best reel ever for 100 bucks.Happy in TEXAS! I gave it 4 stars because of the handle and support minor flex.

Sooooo the Good the Bad and the Ugly!The good..... This thing will cast a mile long and laid the line back down really nice when reeling, the drag ramp is nice and almost acts like a Live Liner.The Bad..... This reel has a crazy wobble to it. Very flexible reel seat.... It is a learning curve. But!!!!!!! It's only$100 give or take.The Ugly.... It's got a Horrible wobble when reeling in and it gets worse when under stress from bringing in a fish.I did manage to bring in several Reds and Trout out of the surf with ease after getting used to the flexing. But I haven't landed any Sharks yet which is pretty common occurrence where I fish and this reel was going to replace my Penn Battles.....IDK YET!

My brother isn't a die-hard surf fisherman but he really likes his real
