Etre Jeune PLS-BLM-LG-G4 Headphone Adapter and Splitter, Tempered Glass

This comes in a fancy, well make box with wet and dry cleaning clothes. To be clear, in case the name confuses you, it is plastic made to cover the tempered glass screen; it is not glass itself. It is comparatively thick and stiff. Whether you consider this a good or bad thing is a matter of opinion. I prefer it a bit thinner and more flexible. Still, I think it is fine. It fits my G4 perfectly and seems to be very scratch resistant, though time will tell. It does not "stick" to the phone, but clings to it. However, it does not move unintentionally. My one complaint is that, no matter how many times I've tried, I cannot get it to go on without a huge bubble forming along the left edge. No amount of flattening has eliminated the bubble, though I was able to reduce it. I hope, over time, the air will work its way out. That said, the bubble is only noticeable when the screen is dark. When the screen is lit up, the bubble cannot be seen and does not distort or interfere with the screen content. Nor can I feel the bubble. Despite the annoying bubble (only annoying because I know it's there), this is the best screen protector I have had.UPDATED UPDATE (Previous update deleted): I installed the second screen protector and this one went on perfectly. I am pretty sure I figured out what went wrong the first time and I have to admit it was probably my fault. I will say, however, the English is not perfect in the instructions. So, here was the problem - and this is important to note: Unlike most screen protectors, this one clings to the screen, rather than stick to it. This is important because, rather than pressing down to apply it, one should hold the protector just above the screen, parallel to it and, once all the holes and borders are lined up, gently drop it onto the screen and let it seat itself. When I followed this method, I watched as the protector drove all the bubbles out itself. It now has a perfect, bubble-free fit on the screen, Make sure you use the dust lifter tape that comes with the protector, even if you don't see any dust. The slightest speck of dust will cause a bubble that will not come out.If it wasn't for the crack that I experienced removing the first protector, I would have given this 5 stars.

I would have given this product 5 stars but there was a slight imperfection in the screen and the corner would not stick to the screen creating a small corner bubble. I did contact Pleson and sent them a photo of the corner and they told me they would send me a replacement immediately - so hats off to them for their good product (surely when dealing with something like this a few are bound to slip through the cracks with imperfections). I was told I would get the replacement within a week I have confidence the replacement will be fine so I will go ahead with this review now in case folks are wondering.The advertisement made it seem as if this thing would resist fingerprints even better than the original screen, but I am not seeing this benefit; I actually think my fingerprints show up MORE on this thing - but it does not really effect my overall review. I only took the one star away because there is a small chance your product may be one of the imperfect ones. With their amazing customer service over at Pleson this is only setback and not a loss. I also have not given it 5 stars because until something happens that actually puts this thing to the test, I have no way of knowing how well it handles scratches or grooves - I sure as heck am not going to run a drill down my screen to test it out!The cover fit absolutely PERFECTLY! with the right amount of steadiness and patience I was able to align this baby up so perfectly it literally left the perfect border around it, not too big on one side and too small on the other. The first time I put it on I cannot say my hand was that steady, but this isn't attached with superglue, just something to help it vacuum stick and so I just lifted it off the phone cautiously and reapplied it. The instructions are very detailed.The packaging was exquisite! Very posh packaging for such an item when I can imagine most come in just a pouch of some kind. This came delivered well protected. I included photos. I included the photo of the first protector and how there was obviously a very slight curvature or something to the corner that prevented me from making it stick, thus creating that tiny pocket. But if you look at the rest of the screen it is crystal clear and you couldn't even tell there was a cover on it at all. I have confidence that the replacement they send me will fix the corner issue and folks would never know I had a protector on in the first place.Over all I do feel much better having this thing on my screen even if it needs to be replaced down the road in a year or two as preventative maintenance - it is far better than any of those plastic film things that are like cheap stickers.And for anyone claiming this is not glass, they are wrong. This is tempered glass - folks forget glass comes in all sorts of strengths and types (consider windshield glass, for one, which looks like plastic when shattered and comes apart in cubes that you cannot detect when it is one piece). They forget that their regular screen is glass too and it is flexible (how else could touching it trigger the response below the screen if it was solid hard and unbendable??? Common sense, folks!)Yes I recommend this screen protector and the company/brand!

I've been through 4 of these screen protectors having shattered 3 of them. I'm pretty sure that if I hadn't had this screen protector installed, the screen would have broken, so I"m okay with considering these as sacrificial armor.They are easy to install. The package includes wet wipes, dry wipes, and an adhesive lint remover that works better than scotch tape. The screen protector is also well padded in the packaging so it should arrive unbroken unlike other's I've ordered.Depending on what kind of case you use, there might be an issue with the edges peeling. My wife's G3 cannot keep a glass screen protector on because handling the phone while in the case constantly applies a prying pressure to the edge. I've had no problems with my G4 and a TPU Diztronic case. Part of the reason is that the case overlaps the screen protector by .5mm whereas my wife's phone, the screen protector ends where the case begins.Now why 4 stars instead of 5? If I had written a review for the last one I purchased, it would be 5 stars. However the latest one purchased is different. I've gone into my order history and re-ordered what I"ve previously bought, so I know I'm not ordering a different model. The latest version I ordered is extremely glossy. It shows every finger print, smudge, and piece of lint. Previous versions have had a bit more matte, anti-glare finish to them. It was subtle, but since I've recently changed to screen protectors, I'm realizing that my screen is always dirty. So there is a bit of quality difference on finish for this product. Overall, I'm not unhappy with this highly-reflective version. When it's clean, it's crystal clear and the HD screen appears more brilliant,, but I would have preferred one like my previously purchased protector.
