Exactly what my office needed.
I have a small 12x8 office room that I run a 3D printer and some computer stuff in. It was driving me crazy how unorganized everything looked. I got this because it was $30 cheaper than what I found at Walmart at the time and liked the color. Turned out pretty nice and fit everything I wanted to put on it.A rubber mallet made putting it together way easier, the hard part was the center cross rails but nothing a pair of pliers and a flat head can't solve. Flexing the tabs did cause the paint to flake but thats to be expected. Once complete, its was super sturdy. My bed slinger printer sends small vibrations through it but I'm not worried its going to fall apart or cause a print failure while its working. My only concern actually is the MDF panels used for the shelfs. Its a little thin, and the center rail doesnt come up to match the height of the main rails (its about 1/8 of an inch lower). Because of this, the shelf actually dips in the middle (only to rest on that center support so its not a major concern). A solution to this would be to add a spacer. A small 1/8in or 1/4in strip of wood of the same material on the center rail would fix it.Overall I'm pretty happy with it, and it should last a while assuming those panels hold up and don't get wet. It should be easy enough to cut some replacement panels too later on.

Beautiful color, annoying to out together
This was a pain in the butt to put together. Whomever thought of using this slide latch method which required a plastic mallet was really not builder friendly. When putting it together and sliding the piece into the other I realized the slots were not big enough therefore the paint was getting scraped off. The slats that items sit on are thin. I didn’t put heavy items on it because it’s pressed board but also because the middle stabilizer slat kept coming out. Also, the shelving is not coated so if it gets wet it will warp. I would suggest contact paper or peel and stick. The blue was beautiful and the measurements were correct. All the pieces arrived and they provide cool little gloves with no slip to handle the pieces. Overall it will work for me with lightweight storage needs but I will have to purchase additional items, like contact paper, to make sure it last. Not a bad purchase if you are looking for something with color at a very reasonable price.

Very good shelf, not quite perfect.
The shelf arrives in a conveniently sized package, very efficient. The assembly is a little tricky, but can be done without tools in under an hour. Once assembled it's pretty sturdy & stable. I would have preferred if the shelf itself could be secured into the frame rather than simply sitting on top of it.It suits my purpose fine, which is using them to display collectible toys. The shelves can be built as a half height side-by-side. One additional shelf would have been ideal for this configuration.Tough to beat these for the price. I expect to pick up 2-3 more in the near future.

Easy Assembly, Sturdy Little Shelf
The shelf was pretty simple to assemble. The base was probably the most “difficult” but even that wasn’t hard. I found it easier to put each shelf’s support frame pieces on the 4 corner poles first and the slide in the center support piece (after bending in the tabs on the center support pieces) vs assembling each whole framed-out shelf and trying to get them placed that way. Overall it took me about 15-20 minutes to put together, though it would have gone faster if I’d had a rubber mallet. The shelf isn’t super tall: It is about eye level for my wife who is 5’6”. I also wouldn’t use it for anything really heavy. We are using it for plant starts and seedlings for our garden. It seems like it could support a variety of things though I wouldn’t trust it to hold very heavy items as the inexpensive metal frames could bend and the MDF board shelves are quite thin. I also wouldn’t put it in an outdoor area where it could get frequently damp from the weather. All in all, a good item for the price and what we will be utilizing it for.

Cheap, nightmare to assemble -- so not worth it!
I purchased two sizes of this shelving: One of the 27.4 x 11.6 x 60 inch and two of the 35.5 x 16 x 71 inch.Though they are all very low quality, the 60-inch is far superior to the 71-inch version. The 60-inch assembly was fairly easy, and the picture in the ad is accurate as to how it is put together. I'm using this product in my home office to store some office supplies. I think it will be fine for that purpose, and it would probably function well in a craft room or maybe a kitchen. It really is a bit misleading, though, to call what I have received "Garage Shelving." I really would have given this one three stars, but, apparently because I purchased all of the shelving at the same time, I couldn't separate the ratings. The 71-inch version is a totally different story, though, and even giving one star is too high. I am very adept at assembling products. I have built large desks and shelves and even watched a video and replaced the solenoid for the ice maker in my refrigerator. I have no problem following instructions. The 71-inch version of these shelves is a totally different design than the 60-inch version. If I could think of a word with a connotation worse than "worthless," that's what these shelves would be.Though the picture in the ad makes it look as though putting these together would be a breeze, that is so misleading. I'm really just shocked there aren't more reviews regarding this issue and maybe I just didn't see them. The metal pieces are so thin and flimsy, and the assembly procedure is an engineering disgrace. I have spent close to 12 hours working on the two 71-inch shelves. I have one fully assembled, and I'm about halfway through the second one. I just literally had to stop and write this review simply as a public service announcement to hopefully help someone who may be thinking of purchasing this 71-inch shelving with the assembly involving the metal tabs and slits for the tabs to fit through. This doesn't work like the pictures show, and it takes numerous, repeated attempts to tap the two tabs through the two slits simultaneously while making sure one of the tabs doesn't come out on the wrong side of the slit. I know it's hard to picture what I'm describing, so just trust me that you don't want to experience it. This whole experience has made me sin.I will say that I did not contact the seller about this issue because, frankly, it would be more trouble than it's worth to disassemble and re-box the 50 pieces each on these shelves to try to send them back. I also certainly don't want a replacement, so there was just no point.
