Definitely a good design that keeps liquids hot or cold with the double wall engineering. What irks me, is the price... because as other reviewers have stated, the external walls are thin and get dinged up without hard use. My 2 month old item now looks like it is 5 years old, and has only been carried in my small backpack on dayhikes.

I love the sip and straw idea. My friend got one of these from her work and after testing it I wanted one for myself. For the price I’m annoyed that there is a dent in the side and one the bottom that makes the bottle wobble a bit and the paint was scratched for $40 that’s really discouraging to get a dented scratchers bottle. I stayed away from the white bottles out of habit and reading the reviews that they came scratched. I though the dark blue would be a safer bet.

Just received my Avana Beckridge. First, I was very disappointed in the very large adhesive label on the bottle. There is adhesive residue on the bottle which I cannot remove. I guess I scrubbed a little hard, now the bottle is scratched. So now I have a brand new scratched bottle with adhesive residue on the outside. Second, I was not aware that the top was a open concept and that I would have to constantly unscrew the top to take a drink. An insulated bottle of this size should have a closed lid with a pop/push/flip to close. I can see this will get extremely annoying and tiresome. I cannot comment on the actual function of the bottle and whether it will keep my beverage hot until I use it. As of now even it it were to keep it hot for the full 12 hours, I don't se myself using to offended with to open top design. I heard so many great things about Avana. So disappointed.

I think the avana breckenridge is a fine water bottle. I would avoid this vendor as the original was badly scratched when it arrived and the 2nd was not perfect. My sense is they may be selling seconds.

I love this water bottle, it keeps water cold for hours, even sitting in a hot car all day! Best water bottle I have ever used!

I purchased this cup because I liked the inside straw, however it sure didn't take long for the straw casing to break. Now I can't get straw to stay in place. Have to say very disappointed with that as I really like the cup.

Expensive for what you get. Stick with the hydroflask if you have one.The ice melts a lot quicker in this bottle and condensation also forms along the rim of the opening which makes it prone to leaks. The design —straw opening — however, is a game changer for me as I don’t have to deal with ice spills over my face. All in all, I only use this for cold liquids so can deal with the limitations. I got the blue color and so far it’s been pretty resistant to falls - no cracking or chipping of the exterior paint.
