Happy kayaker.
I bought this after reading many reviews. Based on comments of the length, I bought 2 rolls, one for each end of the paddle.Installation was easy and straightforward. There is a good You Tube video. In terms of length of each roll, I was impressed. using 1/2 width overlap, I was able to cover a 12+ inch section Twice!! Which is what I wanted as I have big hands and wanted a thicker grip.Have used it on 4 salt water outings now. Very pleased. It remains tacky, but does not attract sand or other abrasives. I don’t use gloves anymore and have not had blisters.Would recommend this product. The color choices were also good.

Did not help with grip
I ordered the tape in black and put it on according to the Burnwater youtube video on installing grip tape. I followed the instructions exactly and was looking forward to hitting the water at my next practice. To my disappointment, the tape was not tacky at all. Fellow paddlers were surprised at the lack of grip also and tried to offer tips on how to make it more tacky. I'm at a loss as to what the problem is, maybe I just got a dud roll. Maybe I'll try another brand.
