Makes the truck feel like new. Nice and snug shifting as it was supposed to be. Over time you forget how it was when it was new. Cheap and easy to fix. I believe this was half the price of Bennett Auto.

Yes... This worked.. better material than stock Couldn't shift out of park until I got these and a new shift column.. Both work great and don't over tighten the bracket on the grommets, they have to be slightly loose... The bolt should be tight.. Not the grommet on the shaft

STEEL!!! So much better than that aluminum garbage installed at the F*O*R*D factory. If you are replacing the shift tube on your truck, at least one of the aluminum pieces of crap is gonna break on you... save yourself the headache and order 2 of these at the same time you order your shift tube. These are made of steel, fit perfect and aren't gonna snap when your tightening them up.

It fixed my sloppy shifting 2003 F-150. The old ones were almost non-extant. If I had to do it over I would have just tried replacing the plastic bushings first. I should have checked auto parts store first for the part. Two different auto box stores in my area and both of them had bushings for just $6. After paying for Prime overnight shipping and two of these Doman I was in for $30. Regardless its an easy fix and well made part. No modification were made for proper fitment like some have complained about.

If you need to replace both bushings and straps, be sure to order 2 kits. Otherwise it fit and replaced the worn out parts perfectly.
