They are thin, it takes a while of use for them to soften. (Just bought 4 more, had a pair for a few years) I love them. They don't get musty, wash well, dry great and are a great size. Tried out the stone color, it's very nice. I'm a fan. If you are looking for soft and fluffy these aren't for you. These are, however, very functional for daily use and abuses. Love mine. And they soften enough for my household after use. Promise. Oh and shrink a bit, but no loss if you buy the big ones!

These towels are thin and super absorbent. They wash beautifully and dry in a jiffy. If you like big thick fluffy towels, (that take 4 hours to dry - or never really do) then these are NOT for you. However, if you like a big, thin, soft, absorbent towel that won’t wear out your dryer, you might like them.I got the white color and they have a nice little pucker on the edges after being washed. Will buy more!

Have been using Gilden Tree towels for over 25 years. The only towel I will use. No lint, quick drying and very absorbent and last forever. Absolutely worth the price!!! Only regret is they have discontinued the taupe.

Great buy - was looking at these for a while - saw other brands online which were too expensive for me - these came up and so glad I bought them. They are super absorbent, dry quickly, wash and dry well in the machine, and well worth the money. Great purchase - planning on buying more!

Took 1 towel on our 4-day trip, used it for both of us all 4 days, and did not have to use airbnb towels at all! Drys super fast! Not plush or soft, but I don't care; I'm not wearing it or sleeping in it.

While they’re cute out of the package, and nice and large, these towels just aren’t it. The material stretches and bags after several washes, and just aren’t that absorbent. I’ve had them for a few years, and they’re so stretched I don’t use them when company comes around.

I purchased both Gilden Tree modern (thick weave) and classic (thin weave) bath sheets to see which ones I liked best. I actually prefer the classic. They are lighter weight, take less room on the shelf and do the job just as well. They aren’t as soft as the thicker weave but I prefer that. Plus they are less expensive.

I inherited a set of towels from my mother; I loved their absorbency and thin thickness as hand towels. They dry very fast. When one developed a hole from much use, I looked up the label on Amazon and found that they are still being sold. The new set has the same quality as the much-loved old towels. Yes, they are expensive, but I am so happy they are still available and have the same old-fashioned cotton quality. Bought these because I often shower twice a day (morning then after workout later) and regular towels got smelly quick. These dry quickly and do not smell even after many uses. The fabric is a bit rough compared to fluffy towels, as one would expect, but you get used to it and I don't mind it.

Las toallas son muy delgadas, trae un etiqueta que dice que encogen si las secan en secadora, y el tamaño original no es muy grande, las que vienen 2 misma marca etc, son carísimas para lo que son, y las que viene 4 también, no las recomiendo para nada

Secan súper bien , la tela se siente un poco áspera pero el resultado es increíble

Lo mejor es que desde las probé, ya no me gusta ninguna xq te secan muy rápido y las toallas también

Generous size allows for any shrinkage and still gives great coverage without being bulky. Also, more absorbent than any "plush" towels I've tried.
