high quality, small and handy
I go this to save space in my tool box. If you are planning to tap threads larger than M6 into steel or iron then the pressure in the palms might get painful after a couple of taps. But overall a great product and build quality.I wish the tightening screw had a hex cut so that I can use a wrench to loosen the bit.

Great tool ...IF u've EVER used one before.
I used it the first day that i received them. They are awesome tools, they work very well, and they are of superior quality. Ive seen a few people right bad reviews on these taps...but i truly believe that its due to the fact that they DONT KNOW how to use them, and they probably never used one before buying these. However, i think if the manufacturer provide instructions on how to use them.....then the novice people and rookies would rate this product 5 stars consistently.

Would be perfect if knurled correctly
This is a very robust set. If only they had the knurl in the right places, it could've been awesome. I dropped one star because of this. I had to use pliers to tighten it enough to hold the small 1.6mm tap. I am using an industrial grade tap that has a big enough square on the end, but I still had to use pliers to tighten it enough to hold it without it coming loose while tapping. I can't help but to believe that even with the knurl in the right place, I still would have had to use pliers to tighten it. I am 68 years old, so I doubt I would have had the the strength to do this without pliers. The other 2 I can't say, because I only bought this because of the price. I had only planned on using the smallest one.It is such a shame. This is a really nice set. The looks and feel would tell you, "Man this a a very nice set for $13.00." But then, alas, it isn't as nice as I thought. I am really curious as to "Why" it just doesn't tighten so well? Go figure.

Reasonably Satisfied
There is a very limited clamping range on each handle, they don’t use actual chucks. It’s more of a compression collet. It doesn’t seem to be superbly crafted either. But, it does what it’s supposed to and it’s cheap, so I’m reasonably satisfied.

FIve stars so you read this review at top
These are GARBAGE.Threads are AWFUL, grossly gritty, the pitch is too course to allow tightening sufficient to hold the tap. They go straight to trash.

Great items to have for different types of taps.
Great items. Needs to be broke in but it isn't an issue with me. Need another size smaller if you have one.

Good buy but get your file out.
Good taps for the money study and seem durable. But you'll need to get your file out to make them good. Mine came with burs where the nut compresses the flutes and they required excessive force to tighten down all the way. 10min with a file they were good to go.

Useless.
It’s hard to believe, with such a simple device, that they could be so bad. But through dedication to cost-cutting, poor choice of material, and an undying commitment to really sloppy machining, this manufacturer rose to the challenge and achieved the ranking of, wait for it, WORSE THAN USELESS!!!Really. The machined slots that are supposed to allow flex so that the T-handle can grip different sizes of tap don’t go far enough up the shank. This insufficient flex means you are tempted to apply a bit of torque to the nut — normally a job done by hand — but the knurling is below the machined exterior, so I am writing this with a bandage across one palm due to the non-deburred edge of the nut.
