This is like a peanut butter cup with a dense filling. It's absolutely delicious. If you like chocolate and peanut butter, you're going to love these. This is not a meal replacement bar, but if, like me, you don't eat a lot of meat, this can really boost your protein intake, especially if you exercise regularly. You can't build muscle without protein. This is not a muscle building bar, but since I've started having one a few times a week, I find I am building muscle and losing fat. I can see it, and the tape measure tells me so. My arms are better toned with the same amount of exercise than before I tried this product, and my pants are much looser, especially in the waist. This protein bar weighs in at about 200 calories with 20 grams of protein, a few grams of carbs, and is low fat. It's hard to believe something like this can taste so good, but it does! It's a filling snack, too, and will help curb cravings between meals or in the evening. I suffer from midnight snack attacks. Hey, at least I can eat something that has a nutrient I need! An instant favorite for me. Two wings up!

People this isn't a snickers or hersheys bar.... Its a protein bar and it taste like one, but its really good for a protein bar. I have tasted many others and this is my favorite. I tried the Smores and the Chocolate chip and I wanted to choke... Those were awful. I now just buy these peanut butter ones. 20 g of protein for only 200 calories - does not have 180 like the picture says. At 200 cal and 20g of protein you cant ask for much more. I have tried to find other bars with 20g of protein and they are all higher in calories.... No thanks. Many times i'll eat 1/2 for 100 cal and 10g of protein for a little snack. I no longer buy granola bars filled with sugar. These are chewy not crunchy. Put in fridge, I think they taste better from the fridge compared to a room temp box in the pantry. I always have 2-3 in the fridge and replace as I eat them. They are dense and do keep you full for a while. Some days I'll grab an apple or banana and one of these bars and I am good to go until lunch. They have other flavors, but after the disgusting smores and chocolate chip bars, I'll save my money and stick with these or try to find them at a local store first where I can buy one to taste and not be stuck with 2 boxes. And last..... Hello.... They are less than 80 cents for each bar when you use subscribe and save... 9 dollars for two boxes... Hell yeah :)

I once learned in nutrition class that digestion starts in the mouth with chewing, and from this tasting as well. This bar tastyy! I also feel very good after having one and can eat them on an empty stomach and do a few hours of sports feeling satisfied. It has a very nice peanut butter taste and has a small but very satisfying crunch to it. Compared to other bars like MetRx (i have to force myself to eat this stuff), Cliff (way too sweet!), power bar Triple threat (i think due to the higher sugar content i usually dont feel so good afterwards as i do with pure protein), power bar (too chewy! Pure protein has a nice CRUNCH to it so it feels like real food). These bars are worth a try. I have 2 boxes on subscription every month and keep a few bars in the car and in my backpack wherever I go. I save a lot of money on food because instead of buying a $5 dollar meal or a $1 dollar crappy fast food item I eat a 80cent pure protein bar instead and I know exactly what I am getting in my bar, versus eating at a restaurant the food may seem healthy but actually be filled with all kinds of butter and oils.

I have tried many protein bars and this one remains my favorite overall. Some of the bars taste a little better, but this one tastes really good, packs 20g of protein and only 2g of sugar and 6g of fat. I think the chocolate peanut butter is the best flavor of all the pure protein bars, but I have tried almost all of them and some of the other flavors are very good too. That said, one of the other reviewers put it best- these are not snickers bars, they are healthy and rovide nutients with a low glycemic index. If you are looking for a candy bar, the only way to get one is to buy a candy bar. If you are trying for a healthier lifestylle, these are filling and work well as a meal replacement. Power Crunch Bars taste the best of all the protein bars, but they have only 14g of protein along with 5g of sugar and 12g of fat.

Great tasting product. Lots of protein at a low price too. I use lots of "Pure Protein" products. They are all good, and at an excellent price. As with other bars, I often freeze some. They are not unlike a frozen Snickers bar. Which my diet will likely NEVER allow again. Not that I don't LOVE those. I just don't want to be "biggest loser" material ever again. Products like this one, used in the correct way, have helped me to lose 71 pounds in just over 5 months.... While maintaining the muscle. I don't look emaciated like some people do, who use a "fad" diet, or diet incorrectly. You MUST "work out" constantly, and get enough QUALITY protein. I considered 110 grams per day a minimum., while shooting for 1250 calories. Adjusted upwards slightly on days with lots of "cardio" workout time. This product, along with "Atkins" brands, and "South Beach" brands... All worked for me. And they all tasted great.

I have been eating this for a while now, and the taste is great for a protein bar. It's packed with protein, and low sugar. I've been buying these at the store individually, and I just purchased these from Amazon last Thursday and I received them today. They were in great condition, nicely shipped, and no melting/or damage to the bars. A dollar per bar is definitely better than paying $2.50 per bar at the store. Make sure to get the 2-pack one, great deal!

Light, tasty, and effective. I recommend purchasing it. However, it is not a meal replacement and should not be used as such.
