low budget film
I bought this video as an opportunity to work out and interact with my baby at the same time. I was excited to receive this video so I could get back into shape after having my daughter. Upon receiving the video, I watched it through before trying it. I found the video to be very low budget and not very interactive. The video shows some exercises to use with a ball briefly then goes to a background screen that says try it on your own. The fitness instructor does not do the exercises with you or motivate you during your workout. It felt like a video someone made for you tube then decided to market on Amazon. Overall, I would not recommend this video to another mom. I returned this video and purchased Jillian Michaels 30 day shred which while it doesn't involve your infant, it is only 20 minute workouts which I am able to do during my daughters naps. I did it once and I really felt the burn the next day. I would save my money on this purchase and look for a better quality mommy and me workout video.

Exercise Tutorial, not a workout
This is a video that quickly walks you through 16 muscle building exercises and 2 cardio exercises for you to build your own routine from. It is not an exercise video.A great idea, but I wish that she had taken it one step further and included a 20min routine for you to follow. Yes, I could now do my own thing but I'm not that motivated. There is also a spot after each demonstration for you to pause and continue working on your own, but that requires juggling a remote, a baby and a ball.If you are soothing a baby by using a ball, you are likely already doing the first 5 exercises. If you are entertaining a baby, you are likely doing 2 -3 more. This would be better as a brochure on a website, rather than a dvd.

Informative, useful, and entertaining!
I saw DVD this at my friend's house (they have 2 small boys, both under 3 years old) and was surprised when she told me what it was about. Using a yoga ball to get back in shape is nothing new, I thought. But then she showed me some of the exercises, and I was very surprised...you use the ball for both the baby's muscular development and the Mom's! All the workouts/exercises are developed by an occupational therapist, so the mom loses some pounds while the baby develops motor skills and some functional muscle. A great idea, and good to see something that doesn't force moms to put down their kid so they can work out alone. My wife was intrigued, and will be picking one up soon; we've gotta prep for the eventual stork delivery, the grandparents are waiting!
