Uncle Ben's, Whole Grain, Boil-In-Bag, Brown Rice, 4 Count, 14oz Box (Pack of 4)

I love this rice. It’s perfect for someone like me who’s rice cooking skills need help!

I just plop a bag or two into boiling water, set timer for eight minutes, et voila — very decent whole grain rice. While whole grain lacks the appealing texture of white rice, it has all that good fiber and does just fine in stuffing and pilaf recipes. I wouldn’t, however, look forward to eating a bowl of it straight up.

I purchased because the boil n bag was no longer available in the local stores. I prefer the boil n bag to easily manage how much rice I cook. I paid for the convenience, but it cost about twice more than when bought at the grocery store.

Not dry like so many other boil in bag rice products. However, not as moist as usual. Was this product out-dated?

Love brown rice!!

The boxes were damaged. It looked like the rice was stale. There probably were roaches and bugs in the boxes. It was a terrible way to sell a product.
