We hear you loud and clear
I bought this mainly for karaoke live playback use but quickly found I had gotten much more value than I paid for. I connected this to a mixer via the xlr line input on the LyxPro.The sound emanating from this small thing is incredible. Incredibly loud and incredibly clear. I was hearing subtle details in my mp3's that I had never heard before. The clarity of voices is outstanding in video playback. You know how you watch a movie and even with those fancy stereo speakers on either side you still can't hear dialogue that well? This thing is amazing in my setup as the midrange speaker for movies. The Bluetooth feature has yet to cut out on me as long as I'm in the same room within 30feet unobstructed view of the speaker. The reviews that claim it cuts out must not understand Bluetooth isn't WiFi and doesn't do well traveling through walls or maintaining a stable signal past 50feet.I love how there are plenty of inputs for connecting anything. The mix out output allowed me to connect a subwoofer and utilize Bluetooth to play music with the crystal clear highs of the LyxPro and the deep bass from the sub as soon as I walk into the house. Without a sub, the bass from the 8inch woofer is only adequate. However, this thing is loud enough to cause ear ringing, from the screeching mids and highs! Fantastic for a house. One is really enough for a 20-30 person party paired with a strong subwoofer. All in all, at only $100 each you can buy two of these for an excellent 2.1 channel bargain movie setup. The quality is the best I've ever heard and live vocals sound transparent and clear through it. Sound really wants to go far and there's zero distortion at ear ringing levels. I don't think I could get it to distort if I tried. It loves loud! As far as I'm concerned, why pay triple or even more for a JBL or Mackie high brand PA speaker when this thing is all you'll ever need?EDIT: I've since bought another one and am using it with the original for a stereo 2.1 setup in my home basement. Excellent value for the money. However, the new unit I bought was used, and now i understand why. It makes a humming noise that is quite noticeable even at 30 feet away (in quiet conditions). This is a sign of a quality control issue but I will not be detracting a star for this. I feel that it is "normal" enough of a hum that only the original buyer can accurately tell that the PA audio equipment is buzzing. Anyone else will either not be focused on it and thus won't notice it's there (unless they get within 10 feet of it) or will chalk the hum up to the HVAC or something else in the building. These are PA speakers. They shouldn't be used in near field situations anyway. Raising the volume does not affect the loudness of the hum so that is good. If you're outside, you won't notice it at all. And in a crowded venue, they won't notice it either.

Update I am now a happy camper at Amazon & DBROTH store is great!
I ordered this PA speaker because they said it had bluetooth. Most of the reviews said that the bluetooth worked great. However, I could not get the bluetooth to work on the item I purchased so I am sending it back. I tried to contact the manufacturer with no response. Evidently they just want to sell their junk and don't want to support it. I actually wanted to exchange it but I could not find a way to do that. It does sound pretty good for what it is. Some reviews said it didn't have enough definition but it only has bass and treble EQ so what did they expect? It is LOUD though and at least the PA part of it works great.I have to update this review in all fairness to the vendor and the manufacturer. Also to anyone who may have the same problem I had experienced.I was sharing with my Barber about my experience with this LyxPro SPA-8 Power PA, and he said he has a powered PA also with bluetooth. He said that he has trouble connecting his bluetooth also due to interference from other wifi systems in his house! So I thought about it and decided to try to get away from my wireless systems in my house my wireless router and my wireless phone system which operates at 2.4ghz.I took the speaker out into my backyard and plugged it in to an outdoor outlet. Then I turned on my bluetooth on my smart phone and turned on the PA speaker and voila it worked! So I am a happy camper now and have cancelled my return. BTW I cranked the volume up half way and it filled my backyard with sound! I believe it truly is a 100 watt amp!UPDATE: I am still having issues with the bluetooth on this item. It is not dependable sometimes it connects and sometimes it doesn't. I was going to return it for another one but I found out that I would have to pay $10.00 more for another one. So I have decided to keep this one. So I change my review to 3 stars if bluetooth is not important to you then this is a good speaker. The EQ is not really that great but you know the saying "you get what you pay for".So all in all it is an OK product for the money there is another one out there called Rockville that looks exactly like this one and it is a lot cheaper on ebay but I think I will just keep this one it works for me for now...NOTE: UPDATE ON PRODUCT REVIEW: 01/22/2017 After complaining to DBROTH the company which this item came from, I was contacted by their Customer Support person, Bianca. After going back and forth a few times by email explaining what was wrong with the product, Bianca asked if I would like to replace the item for a new one free of charge! So I said yes that would be great. So she sent me a prepaid postage return label and I packed up the defective product and shipped it back. And this past Saturday, 1/21/2017, I got the new replacement product. I unpacked it and checked out the bluetooth feature on a few of my devices, and it worked on every one of them!!So I am very pleased with the product and the Customer Service at DBROTH store! They are very easy to do business with and the LyxPro SPA-8 is a very good speaker for a novice beginner like me and it is loud enough to fill my back yard with sound and cause complaints from my neighbors lol. I am now a happy camper at Amazon!

This is a great speaker and very good quality I was impressed.
I am a mobile DJ and I purchased one of these speakers to used as a booth monitor for me. I also take the speaker to work at a factory for music during the day. The speaker works very well it has plenty of volume and sound projection. I think the audio is crystal clear. The Bluetooth on this works great I can walk quite a long distance away from the speaker and maintain a connection. One of my friends that has listened to it liked it so much he had me order him one as well. He just threw a big party in his garage last weekend as a matter of fact and that new speaker worked great. I am going to order a second one myself, a new XLR cable and another speaker stand. I plan on using the two speakers to Dj smaller venue work maybe 20 to 40 people and smaller rooms, they should serve perfectly in an environment like that. I recommend these speakers to anyone looking for a good speaker with Bluetooth and the need for a wide range of connections. I believe it would be sufficient for outdoor movie viewing as well. I rated the speaker four stars because although they are quality speakers in my opinion, they do lack a little in the bass Dept. I'm not saying they're bad they do have some low end but they are only 8 inch woofers if you are looking for something with a lot more ability in the low ranges you should try getting 12 inch model maybe, I have not tested one so I don't know for sure how those sound.
