I originally bought this item as a gift, but I wasn't able to gift it. So, after some time, I decided to open it up myself and take a look. I was pleasantly surprised to find quite a nice selection of colors in the thread, with the thread itself being a nice, soft quality. There is a sufficient amount of each spool to give a good go at a project, and each spool is numbered so that finding and re-ordering that specific color is easy! The tools that come are beginner quality, but still work well for simple jobs. All in all, this is a pleasant little kit!

It's a good value for the price. Plenty of colors, enough notions to make for an excellent starter kit, or for more advanced folks as well. A star has been removed because of the three lil pom poms trying to be passed as pin cushions. However, in every other way, I am satisfied with the product. The floss is of a good thickness and easy to divide by hand, and the thread seems strong and of good make. Overall this will work well for my embroidery and beading.

The embroidery floss is ready to use, doesn't knot up while stitching. The colors are vibrant and such a great value. The organizer is quite compact. I love that feature as I use it when I travel. I'm getting ready to go on a lengthy trip and just organized the colors I need into the top sections of the caddy. You're There's was room for everything I need. able to separate the sections and I use just one when I travel. The price was so reasonable I almost didn't buy as I thought it might be low quality. I recommend this one.

Great little kit for projects when you don’t know exactly what colors you’ll need. This has come in handy several times already, can’t wait to use it for my next creation. Note: colors don’t come sorted - I went back and grouped like-colors together.

The container is a bit smaller than I thought it would be, but it's still a great value for the price. The floss is comparable to name brands, and I love the variety of colors. I mainly got this for the container and floss. The extra products that come with this are flimsy and low quality.

I’m leaving 3 stars because I love the thread, and all the options of colors! There are so many shades that it makes it easy to find darker and lighter versions of the same color and I love that. That being said, my container came in and the plastic was broken and I have not been able to use the case and had to find a different case to put everything in.
