Best Playstation Driving Sim
Best Playstation driving accessories available! It is the coolest and easiest thing to be able to plug in the wheel and watch it auto-calibrate and "come to life." While the wheel does come with paddle shifters, the stick shift had added an additional realism to the sims. Especially for relaxing chill drives, the stick shift is extremely valuable and useful!

My nephew loves it
Not bad works for my nephew. He’s got the whole PlayStation set up there. If you have the extra money, go ahead and invest in the $600 one. It has actual feedback on it unlike this one. But this is still a good one it works for 300 and something dollars you get the pedals and the steering wheel you can buy this stick with it, but I bought it separate.

Great add-on for driving games
This is a great shifter for a PS5. It’s easy to install. It fits perfectly. It’s very accurate. There’s no malfunction problems with it and the grip is good. The material is made of good hard plastic, which is great very durable. My son love

Works perfect.
Only reason for the 4 stars, is the little cap on the knob with the engraved shift pattern is pretty loose and pops right out. I mean, I feel like it's supposed to be ABLE to pop out like with a flathead, but, it pops RIGHT out with your fingernail. Any G29 owner will tell you, these things are made sturdy. The mechanical parts of the shifter are just as durable as the wheel, but that cap on the shift knob is just rattly plastic. The shifter works absolutely fine if you pop the cap out (in fact, my hand fits a little better on the knob after removing it), but you shouldn't have to do so. Also the knob itself kinda turns on the shifter shaft. There's a screw straight down though the knob into the shaft that'll strip out before you get the knob tight. (haven't stripped it, but I've dealt with enough screws and bolts to know when something will strip.) Again, not really a problem, but a notable observation. Oh, and there's an extra 'anchoring bolt' that threads through the bottom of the back of the assembly, up into your mounting surface, in addition to the main two anchoring clamps. This hollow plastic 'bolt' is not even worth installing, it won't stay in unless you maybe glue it. My shifter stays clamped and stable to the 2x4 I use on my poor-man's sim-racing rig just fine without it though. BUT, don't let all that keep you from buying this. I'm so happy I don't have to use the flappy paddles anymore. In PC2 you can use this as an H-pattern even in sequential cars, makes it so much easier because paddles are stuck to the wheel, and turn with the wheel, like all the buttons on the face of the wheel, which is annoying. Made a standalone usb handbrake out of an old usb keyboard for this reason exactly, which I'd also recommend. Look up diy usb handbrakes, you won't regret it.

Really great intro to the world of sim racing/driving
I paired this with a PC/PS5 G923 and just recently retired it in favor of the Logitech RS 2-in1 Sequential shifter and handbrake. For the price, if you’re already using the beginner level G29/G920/G923 Logitech wheels, and don’t want to use the paddle shifters, it’s a must have in my opinion. It reminds you of a short throw shifter, and is very satisfying in terms of the way it clicks into gear, and its fairly low noise level compared to the otherwise loud Logitech TRUEFORCE system. Feels very well built, and can easily be converted to a sequential shift if you have a few rubber bands laying around and a bit of ambition. If you’re doing any ATS or BeamNG.Drive, it’s hard to live without it. I used mine with a fair amount of Gran Turismo 7, too, and when it comes to stock cars using anywhere between a 4 and 6 speed trans, it really gives you a good bit of immersion, especially paired with a PSVR 2. With that being said, as someone who’s driven manual transmissions most of my life, make no mistake: you’re not going to confuse this for the “real thing”. Changing gears can be a bit clunky at times, and there’s been plenty of times where the sim/game I’ve used seems to register my shift late when compared to my clutch movements. There’s plenty of faster shifts I’ve done in real life a million times that doesn’t input correctly for me. I’m not sure if this is an input lag situation, or just a difference in the feel, or something else. The gates are also unrealistically close together from anything I’ve driven, it can take a bit to get used to where each gear is. Expect to shift from 5th to 3rd, or any other combination of mixing gears up, from time to time…especially at first. Over all, for the price, I’m giving it 5/5. I don’t think there’s another 6 speed H pattern shifter within the price range that works as well and feels at home with the more budget friendly G series wheels from Logitech. Just make sure you’re aware of the compatibility of this shifter: it uses a serial wire end instead of USB, and will only plug and play out of the box with those Logitech wheels. Otherwise, you may be able to use the G adapter for PC, but I’d check compatibility if you’re not using it with a G29, G920, or G923.

Impressive shifter
Wow! I’m impressed. We bought this along with a steering wheel. We didn’t know if we should get the shifter too but we are so glad we did. It is definitely made with good quality material. It feels solid and feels like you are really shifting. It is a good size that feels similar to the ball part of the shifter on a car. It might be a little smaller, but it still feels good in your hand. It was super easy to clamp on to a table. You will want a table to put next to you that is lower than the wheel so you can shift comfortably. Buying a compatible stand for the wheel and shifter would be good too. It was a great price for the quality. I would highly recommend getting this if you buy a gaming wheel. We play with it for hours because it’s so fun.

Nice addition
It's really cool. The feel is kindnda plasticy. Could make feel a little more realistic but do love it anyway
