Our large ceiling fan still worked, but had slowed down noticeably on high speed, which is the only speed we use. Troubleshooting/research led to the possibility of a faulty capacitor. This cap matched the original's 4uf/6uf/6uf. Even though the original cap voltage rating was higher, this new one is still suitable for any household ceiling fan application. Installed it by copying the original connections and the fan was good as new.

The blades on my ceiling fan were barely spinning so I decided to fix it myself after Google told me what the problem most likely was. Saved me lots of money and hassle not having to take down my fan and replace. Lots of videos are posted online how to replace this part.

It worked well! This was used in a Hunter Bay ceiling far. The high setting was not working and the medium and low speeds were the same...slow. Once installed with wire nuts and electrical tape for security, everything worked as good as new! This would have gotten 5 stars but its only 16AWG wire where my fan has 14AWG wiring. I hope it lasts.

I all the wires were color coded to what you need to rewire your new one into your ceiling fan but it doesn't work as well as it says and result of that it was very hard to find the exact one even though I took plenty of pictures sent them in they recommended this unit to fix my ceiling fan it did not fix it I bought two additional ones still did not fix it waste of money and a lot of time researching just go buy a new fan

My fan no longer makes the clickity noise as it spins.

Fixed a 5 year old ceiling fan calera-0020160 from running slow. Installation is simple if you are mechanical. Will need 2-3 smaller wire nuts.
