Great product does exactly what I wanted

I've had 2 Steelseries Arctis headsets that I've used through countless sweaty gaming scenarios, and the earcups ended up becoming caked in gamer residue which is gross to consider putting back over your ears.I was hesitant to buy a new pair, as the functionality hadn't really been effected, but they had become noticeably less comfortable, so here we are.It was a bit of an impulse buy at the time, but one to wash and one to wear now seems like the right choice.

What is never stated is that these are compatible with the Xbox Wireless Headset, which is a real plus as to my knowledge they're no official replacement pads. These work extremely well and was a real plus when changing from the stock pads. Installation is easy, simply start with pushing the pads slowly into gaps where the notch starts and working your way in around the headset. No tool is required. Since moved to a different headset but still highly recommend this addition.

They fit fine. You can twist them onto Arctis 7's as you can the originals. They're not made of the same material, or foam but very close. The fabric is soft, but when it moves around on your head you can hear it sort of scratching as it isn't quite as soft of the originals. The foam is also like one grade firmer, no idea how you grade foam but it's every so slightly stiffer. Which to me isn't a bad thing as it means its not compressing as much which the originals did after a few hours and let me ears touch the hard plastic moulding of the headset. I've had these on four 6 hours now and my ears are comfy. A touch warmer but comfy. Another thing I noticed is that these isolate a little better. Maybe because the foam is a touch denser it blocks a touch more outside noise. Again, not really a bad thing but maybe on a hot day they'll trap more heat.Overall happy with them. £1 more than original replacements but totalling £9 cheaper because of the postage SS forces.

So far so good only needed one of em as the other is still okay from the original and it does work perfect and just a wee bit tougher

Fit as described

The Arctis 7 Earpads I had before these had begun to flake from years of use, becoming unsanitary to wear with the constant bits of debris from the pads. With these, I'm able to get a few more years of use out of an otherwise excellent headset that has little in the way of mechanical faults.They're also noticeably softer than the original Arctis earphones, probably because they're made of fabric rather than the faux leather my previous pads used. No discernible change in audio quality.

Used these instead of the ear-pads that come with the new Microsoft Wireless Xbox headset and these are so much more comfortable.
