We got this for our car loving toddler that also loves robots. The car is pretty cool looking, body style similar to a Bugatti, good sizing. He was over the moon when we received it and he saw it transformed! The joy on his face was well worth the purchase.Only two wheels work, the other two are for looks (because there’s a small little white wheel in the middle of the car to help with turns which doesn’t allow for the wheels towards the front to touch the ground).Must be on a flat even surface because of the tiny little white wheel in the middle.The car is LOUD, this is especially so with the music option. We put tape over it. Fortunately our tot did not care for the music.Has a sensor on the hood of the car, wave and it transforms. Wave and it goes back to a car.Somehow the car had a broken piece inside of it by day 2, which is surprising given that our little one is gentle with cars. It took an engineer (thanks dad) to deconstruct, find broken piece, fix and get it up and running.

This was a gift that my 4 yo nephew picked out for Christmas. I was skeptical. 1. The package states that it offers one-button DEFORMATION with instructions on how to deform the car. The car reforms or transforms into a robot and back into a car. Fine - my pet peeve, not a deal breaker. 2. The battery compartment is screwed shut with tiny little screws that requires a special tiny screw driver - Not everyone in the world has screw drivers for their glasses. I am more like to have a butter knife or coin. Then I lose a screw the first time I take it out. Redesign the closure. Nonetheless less I charged it and opened it so I could make it easy for my nephew to open and play. I played with it and he played with it. We had a blast! The controls are simple. Even if steering is a little tricky, there is still the transformation button and the demo button with music. The robot moves over thresholds better than the car. He has figured out how to work all the buttons and loves it.

Kids were really excited about the combination of robot + car. However, it's either my kids are a little too naughty or the car is a little too fragile. On day 1, one of the wheel popped and then it's been missing one of the wheel.Few days later, the toy can no longer transform from the car to robot. Whenever it does, it will transform from car to the robot, but will not stop. It just continuously to have the clicking noise which sounds just like the supposedly stopped is no longer working. It actually turned quite annoying and frightening when it's in the condition. Then my kids stop playing it.

My 8 year old son got this for Christmas. He and his 11 year old brother were able to figure out set up all by themselves within 10 minutes of opening the box. It's run great and was so easy for our younger son to figure out without any assistance. Would definitely recommend this purchase for any child who enjoys remote control cars and toys that transform! Only down side: our dog is not a fan of the loud noises and flashing lights!

My 3 year old and 6 year old enjoy it. It is slow enough that they can control it. It either goes forward/backward or turns left/right. It does not do it at the same time - thus easy to control for young kids. They also like making it dance. It is surprisingly stable when it transforms, even when the car is in motion. It does get stuck opening occasionally. I fully expect it to break soon but it served its purpose as a “cool” Christmas gift so far.

I ordered this item twice, hoping to have a fun Christmas gift for my grandson. The first car came, and it would never transform from robot back to car. I wasted time, gas, and travel taking the item to get returned. I took the option of re-ordering the same item. The next car came the next day, by evening. That was great. The remote control of the new toy totally did not work. The remote control was not paired with the car, and there was/is no way to pair the two. The instructions are cursory and inaccurate. The transform button did nothing. The instructions call for an on/off switch on the remote control. There is no such button or on/off switch on the remote control; only the compartment for two AA batteries. Plus, a hassle for this product is that you have to charge the included single battery (that goes in the car) by using the included USB wire. It is difficult to insert and take out the other end of the included USB wire. It is very difficult to connect it to the underside of the car. That would not be so bad; but after getting everything charged up and connected, this toy does not work. After two tries, I’m done. Now is December 22, and I may not be able to get a good Christmas gift for my grandson. The videos that some purchasers showed in the reviews looked pretty good. But both of the cars I ordered did not work. Maybe manufacturing took some shortcuts for later manufactured products. That, I do not know for certain. I do know for certain that this toy is totally defective. The car looks cool. But it does not work. P.S. I am not someone who enjoys riding negative reviews. I do not get paid for reviews. I am a granddad and a consumer, and I am very disappointed in this product and do not enjoy dealing with hassles of returns.
