BEHR 1 Gal. Redwood Premium Transparent Deck, Fence & Siding Weatherproofing Wood Finish

This was not made to cover a room divider, but it works fabulously for that. I live in an apartment with a balcony in Pittsburgh, PA. We get all types of weather. I use a bamboo room divider on my balcony to shield from the sun and rain. It is put away during the winter, just before the temperature dips below freezing. I covered the divider with this deck product on the side facing the weather and it works wonderfully. My divider has been up two summers now in high heat and heavy rain. To date, it shows no signs of weather damage. I currently only have one side painted, but I plan to do the other side soon. After I do, I will put up a photo, if I remember. My only problem was getting into the inside of the frame where the bamboo ties, but that has nothing to do with this product. Oh, please note that my balcony does not receive the brunt of the wet weather. It only hits the front fourth sometimes up to a third if intense weather but that is where this divider sits. My balcony gets full afternoon sun.

Easy to apply I used a roller on the deck floor and a paintbrush on the spindles it looks amazing and water repels off of it .I use two coats. I would definitely buy again.

I have to use this stain as it was used by the homeowner before me. Great price here.

I'm trying this product for the first time instead of cwf this time around for my redwood sided house in NW PA. We're in the woods, so the siding is exposed to all sorts of things year-round. CWF lasted a good two years, so I'm hoping this lasts as long. So far, so good. It looks great, and after a couple hard rains, it seems to be repelling water very well. The Behr product is richer in color than the CWF, so the house looks a shade darker, but we love it! Goes on easy, easy clean-up, and arrived ahead of schedule!

Just what I was looking for! Went over my deck beautifully and brought out the rich Redwood look...Will definitely buy this again whenever I need to do my deck over.
