Donkey Kong Country: Season 1

The CGI is in line with a low-budget Netflix show, 20 years later, but it survives on its story and solid awareness of where thr CGI tech could not go.Voice acting is mediocre, the stories are thin, too much singing ans rapping but the show is aces all the same. Not a "cult classic," but a great show all the same.Was worried that it would withstand 20 years of aging, and it acquitted itself well to my 9 year old daughter.Still have no idea why King K Rool has no tail...

So glad to finally see this show as a complete set! This boxed set contains all of Season 1 for the old Donkey Kong Country TV series. While the shows visuals are dated for sure by todays standards, it's still a lot of fun to watch and full of laughs. If you're a big fan of Donkey Kong you'll love this set. I love the little songs in each episode too....Donkey Kong is a good singer! Can't wait for the Season 2 set!

This cheesy series was a not-so-fond childhood memory for me, but my brother absolutely loved it. I decided to buy it for him as a gift, and after watching a few episodes found myself completely hooked. A fun little romp with lots of slapstick and musical numbers. The voice acting is great, too. All in all, would recommend!

This was a great purchase! I loved the Donkey Kong Country games (Still do, actually), and just as quickly became obsessed with the tv series. It's a treat to have the entire first season on a DVD set! My one and only complaint with the DVDs is that you only have a few seconds before the Play All option kicks in automatically- if you wanted to watch a different episode than the one at the beginning of each disc, you have to move fast! But, other than that, this is a dream come true. I totally recommend this to anyone who enjoyed the show back when it aired.

Our 4 year old son loves this game. And, our 13 year old loved it when he was 5. Wish we had held onto all of the "old" games. Not too difficult for our boy and he would play it for hours....if we let him.

Video quality is so crappy

Really fun show! Sure, it may be cheesy but it's quite enjoyable to watch, especially for Donkey Kong fans. Brilliant voice acting.

Wanted this series because I watched it as a kid and I am a big Donkey Kong fan. I think this is the only season of the show.
