Requires BIOS setting changes to work
First day review of WD 19 dock with XPS 13 9380. I have had nothing but dock issues following the latest 9380 BIOS update. Problems include intermittent connection to monitor, failure to work properly with a simple USB switching hub, and computer shutting down repeatedly requiring force restart. I followed all instructions when connecting this new dock and had the same issues. Then I came across this article:Dell USB-C and Thunderbolt Docks (WD15, TB16, TB18DC, WD19, WD19TB, WD19DC, D6000) - BIOS Settings and Driver Installation for TroubleshootingThis article will guide you through the installation and basic troubleshooting process for Dell USB-C and Thunderbolt Docking Stations WD15, TB16, TB18DC, WD19, WD19TB, WD19DC, and D6000.Last Modified:13 Mar, 2020Article ID:SLN308303I followed the instructions to update the BIOS settings, and the dock now works properly. Be advised that NOT all of the options mentioned are available in the 9380 BIOS including “enable USB power share” and “allow USB-C dock support”. For now, the dock is working. I did need to plug the USB switching hub into the front USB port on the dock. I hope this helps and good luck. DELL could be a bit more clear about these issues.

A Good Thing to Have
The order was delivered on time. It allowed me to work from home and add a second monitor. A third monitor could be installed as well.

Absolute Garbage
I plugged 2 external monitors into this docking station and it caused the resolution to drop to an un-readable level on one of them. The monitor works fine when I plug it directly into the laptop. Dell’s help line was worthless, as expected. For some odd reason, they give you a 220V power cable with a 110V adapter, but the adapter doesn’t even fit. I returned the docking station to Amazon. I recommend you stay away from this one.

Works good..... BUT!!!
As other reviewers have noted, the power cable does NOT work with the supplied power brick. Luckily I had the correct power cable, so that was not a problem for me. Also just note that it has 2 display ports and one HDMI port. Also no audio port (not a deal breaker for me either). I have used this type of dock at work with no issues at work, so I purchased one for home. The power cable not fitting is really silly, Buyer Beware.

Works...after I replaced a module and did an upgrade.
The dock that I was sent had a bad Thunderbolt module. Fortunately I had a spare module (from the dock I was replacing), however someone trying to buy a dock like that for the first time wouldn't have that luxury. I did buy a used one, but calling its condition "very good" was a major stretch. The dock also required a firmware update before it became fully functional - not uncommon even for a net new device, but still frustrating to see.Otherwise, it's a dock. It does what I need it to do for work and for play.
