Poor Privacy, Good Glass
I purchased this screen soley because it was advertised as a privacy screen. My last one wore out after a few years so I thought to get a new one. However the whole privacy screen feature on this phone doesn’t work unless I have the brightness on my phone turned down all the way. The only sense of privacy I get is that the text on my phone becomes blurry if you’re looking at the screen from the side. The screen doesn’t black out/look black when looking at from the side unless the brightness is dialed down completely. The tempered glass feature is nice though. My old screen was a plastic one. This one kinda freaks me out because I keep thinking there’s no screen protector when in reality it’s just the tempered glass that constantly deceives me. So that’s something I have to get accommodated to. I also dropped my phone in the parking lot and surprisingly the glass didn’t break either, though that could also be due to the fact that I have a durable phone case or could be a mix of good case AND screen.RECAP: Don’t buy if you’re looking for a privacy screen. It doesn’t work as a privacy screen. If you’re looking for a new screen protector, this would be a good go-to.(I keep seeing reviews that the glass is easy to break so if and when the glass breaks, I’ll update my review to say what was up. I’ve only had this on my phone for a day as of 12-16-18)

Not what you would excpet.
Let me start by saying that a few years ago I purchased the Tech Armor 360 4 way privacy screen and it was great. It wasn't perfect but it did the job pretty well. The only thing that I wasn't crazy about was that the privacy screen made everything look a little grainy and pixelated and it covered the white face of my iPhone. So naturally, I thought I would stick to this brand, since I liked it before. I ordered the white ballistic privacy screen and was immediately disappointed. First of all, it is only private in portrait view, not the 4 way. Second of all, it is literally just the clear screen with a white border and on the back side, that sticks to the phone, is the thicker, rectangular privacy screen that fits almost perfectly on the clear window of the screen. It will not lay flush to the phone due to the privacy portion and will naturally peel up over time. In addition, the privacy portion is slightly smaller that the clear screen so the light peeps though around the edges. The extra pressure of the privacy screen will probably not work well with the iPhone 6s and the new 3D Touch feature. I wish someone had reviewed this particular product before I bought it. Total waste.

Flawed design, terrible customer service.
I take great care of my iPhone and drop it maybe once or twice a year. I still like a case on my iPhone, but more for style and grip rather than protection. Unfortunately, I had the misfortune to have my annual phone drop in a parking lot where the uneven, bumpy surface negated the protection that the lip of my case offers for the screen. No big deal I thought, this year I purchased Apple Care+ just in case situations like these happen. Turns out it still costs $80 to fix/replace the phone with a cracked screen. Lesson learned, and so I went straight to Amazon to see if a screen protector existed to help prevent screen cracks.Tech Armor's Edge 2 Edge Privacy Ballistic Glass Protector sounded like everything I could want. Protection for the screen in case of a drop without substantial bulk, privacy filter so I can Tinder in public, newly designed with edge to edge coverage that seemed to eliminate the issue of privacy coverage gaps at the sides of the screen complained about in non-edge 2 edge glass covers, and apparently a great warranty in case the protector isn't everything I dreamed it to be. I was wrong. After installing the protector, I noticed that the adhesive only covered the viewing portion of the iPhone screen. This left a gap between the frame of the protector and the screen, to which I could fit a finger nail in between (pictured). I had concerns right away of dirt becoming trapped in the gap, and the possibility of cracking due to something getting snagged in the gap like my pocket opening. I also noticed that the adhesive and privacy portion of the protector did not fully cover the viewing portion of the screen, just like the non-edge 2 edge covers. I figured at least it gave protection from drops, and that I'd give it a try anyways.A few days later, dirt accumulated between the gap. It formed a disgusting frame around the adhesive, being perfectly displayed by the leaking light in the viewing portion of the screen that is not covered by the privacy filter (pictured). Also, dirt was trapped between the windows for the camera and sensors. Not only was my selfie game severely hindered by the dirt, but the gap between the protector frame and the iPhone screen would allow light to leak in, causing a weird, glowing halo effect. Already annoyed, it didn't help that the touch sensitivity was negatively affected on the edges of the screen. Trying to swipe up to access wifi, bluetooth, flashlight, etc controls was a nightmare. Switching between ABC and 123 on the keyboard became a game of seduction, having to hit the spot just right to make her moan.. I mean respond. At about a week and a half, my other concern about the protector cracking due to the gap became a reality. I pulled my phone out of my pocket to find a crack at the top of the screen, following along the border where the adhesive ends and the gap between the protector frame and iPhone begins. Apparently, the pressure between my jeans and quads was too much for the protector to handle, and the flexing finally caused it to snap. My frustration quickly dissipated as I remembered Tech Armor's "amazing" warranty and customer service.I sent an email to Tech Armor's customer service expressing all of my concerns. I begged them to save me from repeating the horrid experience, and to send me a refund or Amazon credit, or possibly the non-edge 2 edge glass privacy protector instead. Within 4 hours, Mark, from Tech Armor support, responded and asked for my address to send a replacement. I thanked him for the prompt reply, and provided the details. An hour later, Mark responds again, saying my replacement had been processed and would arrive within 7-10 days. I thanked him again, but asked if he had read my original email with my concerns about the design flaws and alternative warranty solutions. I even gave him a short summary, as I understood that he may be a busy man and somehow missed my humbly crafted paragraphs. No response, just silence.Eight days later, Tech Armor sends me an email, asking how I like my replacement. It was not from Mark, but my bitterness of our short romance was set aside from the showing that someone from Tech Armor still cared about me, even if it was an automated message. I decided to respond and inform them that I had not yet received a replacement, that I had concerns about this particular protector, and that I missed Mark. I also forwarded all previous correspondence with Mark at the end of my response for a reference and Tech Armor's convenience. It has been 10 days since I sent that email. I still have no replacement, no response from Tech Armor, and a broken heart. I wanted to give Tech Armor a chance to show how "amazing" their customer service can be, but I'm afraid that I have merely been just "another notch on their belt." This review is my final cry for help, and if I am truly forgotten by Tech Armor, at least our story will live on forever through Amazon.
