I order 2. Natural stars are so expensive to buy here and the stars are usually not very obvious. My husband ground one for me years ago and it was stolen. These are beautiful replacements. The stars are bright. And they arrived 2 weeks ahead.

Seriously gorgeous translucent red corundum with an excellent asterism. A nice change and more fitting for a men’s ring compared to all the opaque pink lab star rubies out there. The cab is wonderfully large too around 12x10 with a very nice dome height (can’t stand it when oval & round cabs are cut so low & flat)

Could not get the starter show up at all even under really bright light not as described. It just looks like a Red stone. I would’ve bought a ruby if that’s what I wanted. Not as described, I guess they don’t have a quality control.

So just received the stone and looks like a star ruby and has a nice star to it but the stone does not match the indemnification card that came with it. Was supposed to be a 5ct stone but actually weighs 3.8ct and the size is also not the same, so leaves a lot of to wonder but it appears to be a real stone. Will be use anyways but be warned if you purchase.
