If you have a Cummins diesel, you are well aware you need to turn the filter on it's side to remove it. With this, you unscrew the filter and before removing the filter, you screw in this attachment and then turn the filter on it's side to remove it. Not one drop leaks out. Do the oppisite when replacing. Fill you new filter up with new oil, screw this in the top and no oil is lost when installing it.

This is a great little tool if you want your oil filter change on the Ram Cummins to be clean. All you do is unscrew your oil filter, let it drop down it will set straight up. Screw the tool into the filter threads and use t-handle to pull the filter out below the inner fender well. When installing new filter fill with fresh oil install tool fish filter back in position remove tool and screw filter back on. Easy.........

My husband thought I was nuts for buying this. But after he used it one time he realized the mess it saved. All you do is have to unscrew the filter screw this tool right into the filter and tilt out the filter with no mess.

Best $10 I've spent this year. Works exactly as advertised. One recent reviewer gave it one star, claiming there's no reason for it and you can't get two hands in the space to work it. If you've done this oil change you know already that the whole process is a one-hander. Once you drop that filter straight down, its EASY to screw this thing on snug enough to withdraw filter.Fill your new filter with aquart of oil, and use this tool to put the filter back in the space, just don't over-tighten.Brilliant, elegantly simple solution to a pain in the ass problem. Product works great, glad I ordered it, made changing my oil filter a breeze. Would definitely order again if I needed one... the only and I mean the only reason I knocked it down to 4 stars is when your looking at the packaging, which is super nice strangely enough for a plastic tool but oh well... you open the box and it says something along the lines of “family owned and operated in Washington state for however many years” but when you flip the box over, it’s got a huge sticker that says “made in Taiwan” 😂 I just thought that was hilarious and was worth deducting 1 star

This item did exactly what it is suppose to do. I did experience a very slight leak when laying the filter on its side to remove it...just a few drops. Part of the problem is not being able to easily get two hands on the filter and cap so it can be tightened. Regardless...it is a lifesaver and makes changing the filter a very clean affair. Thanks!

quick delivery (i'm in AK), very nice packaging (not necessary), had my oil changed in less than 10 min.
