I received the birds & the colors are gorgeous, as vivid as they show on the screen. It's a good, heavy twill-like fabric that should wear well. I can't speak to cleaning/washing because i just received them today. I wanted to give a quick review because my one disappointment is that I got them to fit over some 18x18 old decorative throw pillows & these covers are too small to do so. The zipper to be used to open the pillow cover & put in the insert is not long enough to allow me to fit in an 18x18 throw pillow. The zipper does not go the whole length of the pillow cover. Fortunately, I had some 16 x 16 pillows & they fit into these beautiful covers perfectly. The bird design is simply beautiful & I'm happy with them, but be aware of their size limitations.

The actual color of the pillow covers is more of a dull yellow/ beige and they are not as vivid as the picture shows either. They are still pretty but would have been gorgeous if they looked like the advertisement above, which was what I really wanted. I am disappointed!!! I tried to take a photo but it turned out looking beige and I couldn’t post that because they are not beige.( more yellow than beige) Sorry

I love these little slip cover pillow cases. They are very unique and even better looking than in the ad.
