I really enjoy lying in this hammock (110 lbs) and it seems to have no problem when my 50lb daughter joins me. I needed to use some slackline that I had lying around to reach around the tree and to the other post.

I haven't yet had the chance to take this out for an actual overnight camping trip, but am leaving my initial thoughts and will update as necessary.There are lots of relatively inexpensize hammocks that have cropped up on Amazon, and it was a little dizzying but I settled on this one as an opening foray into a camping hammock to see if it's something I liked without breaking the bank. The price is great on this, $30 to get started with the integrated mosquito net, multi-loop tree straps, and solid carabiners is a great set.The tree loops in particular are quite good on this, there are at least 16 loops on the straps, so that after you hook the strap around the tree you can easily adjust the hanging position of the hammock by clipping the carabiner to one of the many available loops - higher or lower.The fabric is thin and strong, no complaints at ~180lbs anyway. The netting seems good, easy to zip, and also easy to sit on the opposite side to not deal with the netting - just be careful it isn't strung too low and rub on the ground and rip the netting.The ONLY negative is that the rope guy lines to support the mosquito netting are fairly short. They may work out in the wild, but depending on tree distance they might not. Super easy to fix with other lengths of rope sitting around - I'm actually going for one longer rope to form a loop around both trees and hold both sides of the netting.I'm also planning on using an extra tarp I have as a rain fly, rather than buying a dedicated one for $30, at least to start.Happy so far and looking forward to a nights sleep out in the wild!

I enjoy camping with my family, but bugs on the ground and uncomfortable sticks makes me say a definite NO to sleeping bags and tents for the most part.Hammocks can be large and cumbersome, with big wooden dowels and giant tension coils. It feels like the designs are not intuitive for portability. This hammock fits the bill for me and I've loved it since I got it. I keep it up in the backyard under my porch awning for chilling out back by the sun or enjoying the nice breeze from a summer rain.What I love most about this hammock is that it folds up into itself. It has an attached pocket/carrying case that you can use to drop your valuables in (who wants to tear their hammock with their keys?) High duty cables for keeping you secure in your perch and heavy duty clips for securing them to the hammock itself. Practical and functional. What's not to love?

This must be a scam. A cheap hammock sounds great but IT NEVER SHOWS UP! The first time, it showed delivered but it didn't arrive. Amazon issued a refund. The second time, it said it was on the way for several weeks. Again, Amazon issued a refund.

This is good for a child or a smaller adult as that is who I purchased it for. I too thought I was getting a bug net with mine until I went back and reread the header over again which is somewhat deceiving as it all runs together.
