I really like the absorbency of this product that I use in my guinea pig’s cage. This product makes it very easy to clean and doesn’t make a mess when you go to clean the cage. I’m very satisfied with this product and will continue to purchase it! I also love that it comes in a variety of colors. My favorite is the confetti color and if my guinea pig, Lily could speak she would tell you that she loves this bedding too!

Not my favorite bedding but I bought it because it was on sale. This amount, split into 4 bags at it's normal listed price isn't much cheaper than other options but the bags are easier to store. Some bags would have small flakes of other ??? Like small dusts of another substance but it never seems to bother my rats. It doesn't expand much at all, but is absorbent, doesn't have baking soda, and comfortable for my rats feet.

Absorbent for the most part. Cage smells like a windex factory if not changed every 2-3 days. Very low dust, so upper respiratory infection shouldn't be an issue on that part. Since it's brown, it hides brown jelly beans created by poop factories (I have cavies) very well. I stir it around every morning between changes so tinkle and beans don't accumulate so much in their favorite areas. They love kicking it every where on nice clean fleece that you work so hard on keeping swept.

I think the little bags are funny and cute . They are way less messy than the larger ones I have had . I have never had an issue with carefresh. When they switched the labeling , I was totally confused and bought different “types” however after speaking with customer service, I now know that my usual kind never changed. I like the natural the best I find it better to absorb and change my guinea pigs kitchen area every other day which may be a bit to much since it could probably last 3 or 4 days but ..... my pigs like to sleep on it and it’s the main area where they do their business so I feel like they need it cleaned at lease every other day !

Normally this is a fantastic deal on this bedding.My most recent case that arrived is much darker than usual (not a problem to me) but is also blended extra fine, almost as if it is 1/4-1/3 the normal bedding size. This means it makes a mess to pour, and the bunnies also make mess much more than when the bedding is cut normal size.Picture of regular sized bedding cut for comparison (white is regular size, the dark is the extra small sized bedding)

I am using this for my hedgehog. Super soft bedding. Zeze loooooves it. He drags it into his sleeping pouch to make it even more cozy in there for him. It absorbs the urine very well. We clean his bedding out every Sunday and can never ever smell the urine. I can spot the #2 waste very easily with the color of the bedding. We like it a lot. It can get everywhere if it gets on bonding blankets or on Zeze himself. But that’s how it is with all bedding. First bedding I have tried and I like it! Great price, too.

Bought it for my granddaughter who has 2 rabbits. My daughter says it was perfect. Clean and absorbent.

Tengo dos cuyos y he probado varios sustratos, este me parece muy bueno. Es color gris, no de colores como otros que se ven más ¨alegres¨, pero cumple su función a la perfección. Cabe mencionar que yo solo lo pongo en dos areneros de tamaño mediano, pues mis gorditos lo usan para dormir cuando hace frío.Me parece que dura bien y no huele feo, pero aún así yo lo dejó a lo mucho una semana y voy quitándole las popós y los pedazos que amanecen muy orinados.Seguiré comprándolo

Well, it is much softer than wood pellets and somewhat more absorbent than woodchips so those are pros. Unfortunately, there are significant cons: it smells weird (even more so when wet) and while it says there are 14L of usable volume in the individual bag, said bag doesn't even completely fill an 11.3L storage bin even after being fluffed up so you are not getting as much as they say. I will not be ordering this again for my guinea pigs.

I got the 4 pack natural bedding and i absolutely love it! i used to use a different type of litter for my bunnies that came in the from of pellets, but with those i found the smell never went away and it was harder to clean because it would stick to the corners of the litter box! BUT this carefresh stuff is amazing! I wish i tried it years ago! The smell isnt in their xpens & i only have to change their litter boxes every 3 days which is amazing! it has great absorbensy! just ordered another 4!
