I originally picked up this 2-pack of Intermerge TPU license plate frames for our Mercedes-Benz SL 550, specifically because the soft material wouldn’t scratch the paint. They’ve exceeded expectations — flexible, durable, and protective in all the right ways. Since then, I’ve installed them on my son’s Honda Accord 2.0T Touring (daily driven year-round in Ohio), his 2001 Audi TT Quattro, and our recently purchased 2019 BMW 330i xDrive. All are holding up great — no rattles, no rust, and no signs of wear despite varied driving conditions. ✅ **Easy Installation & Finish Protection** Installation was straightforward, and the TPU design makes a noticeable difference — none of the fine paint scuffs you often see with metal frames. These fit snugly without damaging the surrounding finish, which really matters on well-kept vehicles. ⚙️ **Fit & Compatibility** The slide-in slits work perfectly for Ohio plates, and they don’t obstruct registration stickers. The included screws are fine, but I mostly use fine-thread screws for compatibility with our vehicles’ factory mounts. 🧼 **Durability Over Time** These frames are quiet, weatherproof, and paint-safe — exactly what I want when protecting the finish on high-end or daily-driven vehicles. After seeing how well they’ve performed, I bought another set when my son added a another car to the mix.

Test fitted this on my plate, its a great quality looking silicone Carbon Fiber, however its a little too beefy on edges so it is wider/thicker, which doesn't allow me to use some frames. I found brand to solve this, as It's a little more low profile and not as beefy on the edges so works better, plus The plates fit in more tighter, So the tolerances are good, however that brand has some vented squares on the back for some reason which I'm afraid will allow moisture and condensation to come in the back side which isn't a big deal since the plates are aluminum but it is regarding the hardware Rusting. This doesn't have the holes in the back to allow moisture condensation water to seep in which I really like!... However Comparing both, they both had the slots on the bottom to allow any water to escape. I would recommend this product, however be aware that your license plate frame might not be able to fit over this.

Looks great, good nice and thickness. Make sure you wash your car just after you take off your old frame...guaranteed there's a ton of dirt in there. Or don't, you do you.

Fits my license plate perfectly with no overlap onto display area. A nice frame with a great backing that keeps my car protected from the metal plate. Came with required screws easy installation!

License plate fits in the frame perfectly. Thin frame around the license plate gives it a clean look IMHO. The screws that came with the frame screwed right in without a problem. Pro tip: make sure you put the slots in the frame on the bottom to help drain if water gets between the frame.

These plate frames work and look ok but they were twice the price of others that do the same thing. I bought them because it looked like the screws would fit. They did not. They were too small for the existing holes. I had to go buy screws.
