SENIX 58V and X6 60 Volt 2.5 Ah Lithium Ion Battery with Built-in Battery Meter, Blue for Lawn Mower

I was pleasantly surprised by this mower. It's designed very well.The placement and feel of the controls are logical and operate with a nice solid feel. It's handsome in appearance. It's heavy yet maneuvers well once you get it out of the box and rolling on it's wheels.The power to the blades is fantastic. My old mower stopped working so I hadn't mowed my yard in about 3-4 weeks. I was concerned that it was too high to cut. The reason I say this is that my old mower was a Ryobi battery-powered riding mower which would not fare well with this amount of grass. The mowing deck on my old machine would consistently bog or stall when trying to tackle tall grass and I would required several passes to cut. This Senix mower didn't "bat-an-eye". Power is definitely not lacking. On the downside, it was difficult to push through the tall grass but was doable.The battery life wasn't long enough to cut the entire yard but I think the excessively tall grass had an effect on the runtime as the motor had to work much harder. I live on a 1/3 acre lot and got through about 70% of the lawn before it stopped running. Another note worth mentioning is that I live in Florida and many lawns, including mine, consist of crab grass which is not a soft grass (and does not cut easily). However, I believe if the grass is cut every week or two, the battery would last longer. Because the battery was completely drained, this gave me the chance to use the charger which came with the mower. Although I didn't time it, I'd estimate that it charged from 0 to 100% in 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Given the size of the battery, I was expecting that it would take several hours to recharge.On a side note, I did investigate the cost of extra batteries and they are expensive - over half the price of entire mower listed here.Overall, I'm pleased with the mower and would buy it again.

Cuts and bags my thick yard like a champ! This mower is not just a gas-powered equivalent; it far exceeds my expectations in every metric I can think of.My favorite features:* Quiet and turns on/off with a button push* Three power modes, normal mode leaves my thick St. Augustine looking like a golf course, haven't needed Turbo mode*Bagger works great and aside from clippings, I use it to "vacuum" up leaf piles* Speed-adjustable self-propel is powerful and works with mower blade off* LED headlights are cool looking and plenty bright enough to finish up that last bit when you run out of daylight* Handle folds flat and the unit stores standing up on end. Great for cleaning and a big space saver* Fan-equipped charger will provide a full charge in an hour* Battery powers through my 1/4-acre yard with reserves to spare*Price comparable with gas equivalent but offers so much moreThe only thing I would like to see improved is the self-propel levers. There is one for each hand, but you can use this feature one-handed. The problem is if you engage one lever, the other side engages too...and the first time you use it, you're going to pinch your fingers. I got used to it and know to keep my fingers out of the way. But I feel like this is a minor safety issue because now I automatically run the mower for an instant one-handed to avoid this issue.Probably not a big deal, but I did manage to plow the mower into a board fence when I first got it because I absent-mindedly forgot the speed was set to "trot behind and try to keep up mode," and when I engaged the self-propel feature while applying my adopted one-handed activation method with the thing pointed at the fence intending to just move up a foot, it got away from me a bit. This machine is powerful, and before I knew it, I was way past my initial irritation with myself for possibly scratching my new toy and moving right along to the realization I should probably get that spare hand back on the thing right quick for some extra control because it was now climbing the fence...or maybe just let go of it entirely so it would shut down. But I was too busy formulating the perfect blend of expletives I should mutter to myself before I thought of that. Good times...but no fingers or other extremities were harmed while I booked some time on my learning curve.I feel like the left and right self-propel levers should actuate independently of one another, at least in their analog function. What's happening is the natural inclination is to grip the handle with one hand because you know the thing's about to take off, and meanwhile you loosen your grip on the other handle to grab the self-propel lever so you're not firmly in control on that side. Then you pinch your fingers on the one hand you do have a grip with, so about the time you launch self-propel and are not yet back into a firm grip with the hand you used to actuate the lever, you snatch your fingers out of the way on the grip-side and find yourself in a situation where the machine is moving full steam ahead and you don't have a firm grip with either hand just as it starts. Watch that jackrabbit mode setting! Or watch your fingers! Maybe both. This isn't anything I feel rises to the level of looking at some other model, but it's worth mentioning.I also have to gripe a bit about how the delivery was a bit sketch, and the box looked like it had not been treated with kindness on the trip to my place. But that's just a testament to this mower's durability.But I finish like I started. I think this machine deserves five stars.

Hub decided to treat himself to a new electric mower that was cordless. He is very happy with this purchase. The quiet mower comes with 2 rechargeable batteries that are used in tandem for longer mowing time. The grass catcher is tall and deep, holds a lot of clippings before needing to be emptied, and is very easy to attach. It cuts the grass beautifully and makes it look like a plush carpet. Hub did a LOT of research before buying this product and was impressed with the company. (He also bought the Senix weed trimmer and leaf blower). He's very happy with his new yard tools.

Mower seems good. Amazon lowered the price between when I ordered it and when I received it. That annoyed me but has nothing to do with the mower.

Have been using a couple of gas mowers for the last 10 years and had to frequently clean the carburetor to start the mower. It's been a big pain especially in the summer. Thinking to replace with an electric mower but was worrying about the battery life time and the mowing power.Finally made the decision to go for an electric one after the last gas mower being down for a couple of weeks. Did some home work and chose this one on the Amazon Prime day being impressed by the design. Received the product within 3 days. The product does seem to be built with high quality material and definitely liked the design. The battery seems to be quite serious. Honestly I was also a little disappointed when I saw there was only 1 battery. Started to use it last weekend and was really surprised by the battery. After I finished my front yard and backyard, there was still at least half capacity left (indicating 3/4 in the picture). This to me is a big bonus. No backup battery is required. ^_^. Also found it's a lot easier to handle the mower with the large wheels and self propelled feature (especially rear wheel driven). The blades cut the grass faster and finer than my last mower too.Super happy with the product so far. Will see how reliable the mower will be.
