This item is worth the price and is affordable. It allowed me to decide if I wanted to upgrade to a more expensive style. Looks great, quality is very good. Clarity is slightly distorted, so looking through instead of over, can make you feel drunk. Works great for deflecting wind.

Just received this last night and I had to see if it fit the stock windscreen on my 2018 R1200GS. So I put it together using the minimalist instructions that don't tell you where the two washers are supposed to go. I figured they belong somewhere in the release mechanism so that's where they went. Initial impression is that the screen and hardware is pretty robust. The screen is definitely thicker that my stock windshield and the hardware is sturdy. The screen is optically clear but does have minor distortion, but that does not pose a problem since I'll be looking over it anyway. It fit on the stock windscreen with no issues until I started tightening the 4 set screws on back. Because the BMW stock windscreen is curved, the set screws come in at an angle and do not allow the metal spacers under the rubber to sit squarely against the windshield. I tightened them down trying to keep the screws against the metal plates, and that was the most trying part of the install. Assembly and installation are easy other than what I described above and it has a lot of adjustability both Up & down and with the angle of the deflection. I just needed a couple inches of relief at the top of the stock screen to reduce the wind noise in my helmet so I think this will work perfectly even in the low setting which covers the notch at the top of the stock screen and about another inch over the top edges. However, it has at least two more inches of vertical travel to the high setting, if needed. I will take it out for a test this week to see how stable it is at speed and how much protection and wind noise reduction it offers. The plan was for this to remain on the windshield on my highway commutes, and be able to be removed when traveling off highway. I don't now how the extra weight on the top of the stock screen would do in an offroad setting. I sure wouldn't want this to crack my stock screen if it got too rough. Took it out last night and it was perfect! In the low setting, I can still see well above it but it's just enough to throw the wind over my helmet and drastically reduces wind noise. Was up to 85mph with no issues. The top of the OEM screen does vibrate a bit more tha without it over bumps, but nothing I am concerned about. I'll still remove it before going offroad JIC.

I don't have an image of the product as it came out of the box but it is as described on the product page. The reason why I gave this high marks on value for the money is only because this product prevented a rock shot up from a passing truck from hitting my helmet face shield. That could have been bad. As you can see from the pic it shattered from the impact. All that aside, the aluminum mounting bracket for the shield is sturdy and of good quality. However, the mounting fasteners were not of the best quality. I had to replace the nut on the quick release because the threads were grossly out of spec. I also needed to add more robust plates under the set screws since the paper thin metal ones were not up to the task. Once clamped to the bikes' windshield it was fairly stable and the adjustability is adequate enough to provide sufficient wind deflection. My cheesy wire and tape repair made it functional enough for the rest of the ride back from Alaska.

this thing works fantastic. Stock windshield on a 2025 Yamaha Tenere creates a lot of buffeting on head and helmet and excessive wind noise. I installed this adjustible windshield extension and the noise and buffeting is gone. No kidding. Very easy to adjust and lower when off road and a cinch to put back in place when on the highway. I highly recommend. Quality construction. Its not a gimmick. its the real deal. I'm going to buy a spare for just in case....I like it that much.

My windscreen was a little short and this item moved the wind blast up over my helmet. Easy to install. You do need to check the screws as they can loosen, but they give you the Allen wrenches you need

This windscreen is well made, looks good and works well. The screen itself is as clear as the big brand name windscreen I attached it too. It does have a little distortion in the curves (if you are looking through it, which you probably won't be) but so does any windscreen. The hardware is well made, solid metal which fits together well and holds on firmly. It adjusts to a range of positions so you can experiment to find one that works for you. And for the price, you can't beat this. By comparison, I also tried one of the two-attachment-point types which had a nice screen but the hardware was made of plastic and some strange composite which did not hold position well, the screw holes were not tapped well so one of the screws didn't go in at all. That one didn't work for me.

Windshield is useless. I did everything I could to get the cam like lock to stay tight and it kept coming un done. Even just in the garage it wouldn't stay tight. Got it as tight as I could and it flopped down less than a mile down the road and by the time I could find a place to pull over, it fell apart and fell off my bike. Absolutely wasted money

Brilliant bit of kit. Feels very high quality. Screen is solid as are fixings. Very impressed. Fits my 2008 Versys 650 very well.

ＮＭＡＸを新車購入して もうあまりお金をかけたくないな ということでこのスクリーン延長ステー（この名称でいいのか？）にしました。 あるあるですが 説明書は今一つ？です がＴＵＢＥに同じ商品かどうかわかりませんが動画も出てますし、セッティングは特に問題ないと思います。スクリーンにつける際に、傷防止の白いゴムを手で押さえながらネジを絞めていかないとゴムがずれます。注意点はそれくらいでしょうか？スクリーンの高さや角度も調整できる等からも 値段からしたらなかなかの物だと感じました。肝心の風防効果も十分にあると思います。
