UPDATE: As of today, this stand and the hammock are both still working wonderfully!! I am extremely pleased with this purchase, especially since I’ve gained weight since purchasing. The ropes are very sturdy as well as the fabric on the hammock. I especially love taking it with us when we go fishing, it’s very relaxing and not too difficult to transport. The hardest part are the stand bars, but they fit in their carrying bag (with some adjusting, can be hard to put them in sometimes) and it has carrying straps so it’s not bad. If you’re plus size and questioning the weight capacity- DONT. The ropes are still sturdy almost a year later and that’s even having left it outside for a few days at a time, and the bars are still as strong as day one. My boyfriend and I weigh 515lbs combined, and both lounge in this regularly. The fabric is nice and soft, not scratchy, and the hammock stand is adjustable for different weight amounts! There are different holes to place the hooks into adjust the height which is fantastic. The first time I sat in the hammock, I was cautious, but now that I can see how sturdy it is I have no reservations about climbing in and kicking back. I take it fishing with us, to my parents house, really any place I know I can be outdoors for awhile. DEFINITELY would recommend to anyone, especially those plus size folks like myself!

I purchased this item in October of 2017. It has had extensive usage both indoors and out holding a Chill Gorilla hammock. I am a big guy, but still well under their advertised 550LBS weight capacity. Initially the hammock held up well. It was stable enough for me and fit the hammock well. Unfortunately last month the center poll bent at the junction to the vertical mounting bar. The bar bent to such a degree that the hammock now hits the ground, making the item unusable. Perhaps it would have lasted longer with more casual usage, but under heavy usage, it clearly did not hold up as advertised.PROS: 1. High weight capacity 2. Carry bag 3. Easy assembly 4. Indoor and outdoor usageCONS: 1. Poll bent in under 1 year 2. Had to utilize additional lines to get the ideal hang for my liking 3. Mounting screws would work loose and require adjustmentUPDATE: Was contacted by Customer Support. They were very willing to assist and replace the bent pole. Worked with them to document the issue with photos and assembly part listing. Once we agreed on the problem part, they promptly shipped out a replacement. This was a great support experience and for that, I'm updating to a 4 star from 3 to reflect this level of service.

Sturdy hammock holder. I use it ion the Caribbean salty air and it rusts a bit after many years, but normal, and its still good. We keep it dry inside when away.

I'm no small peanut and this frame held up to my weight just fine. The powder coat is really nice looking too. It was easy peasy to assemble. I put it together within 10 or 15 minutes all on my own. I'm so glad I finally bought this as my hammock was begging to be put to use. I'm looking forward to some truly relaxing times this summer chillin' in my backyard!

EDIT: After contacting the seller, I got all the right parts and replaced the damaged ones. It seems to be working great! I have it on my back deck. For anyone with an eno brand hammock, this does work fine and it won’t slip off, you don’t need your straps, just use the clips.I was really excited about this to put on my back porch for fall but when I tried to put it together, the screws would not secure all the way and it took forever to get them to catch the grooves, almost like they weren’t cut right, making the frame not sturdy at all. After I decided that it wasn’t going to go together the way it was supposed to, I started putting it back in the box and noticed the bag to transport it had a large hole in it.I really wanted to make it work, as it was a good price point, mobile friendly (I think), and the bars themselves seemed sturdy to hold weight, but maybe I got a defective one. I don’t know.

Quick and easy to assemble, seems to be sturdy construction. The carry case is plenty big enough so that the stand is easy to put back in the bag when finished. I plan on taking this with me to music festivals this year to improve my camp experience.I have only two minor issues with this product. The first is that the bolts attached to the hooks are a bit longer than necessary and the material of my hammock rubs against them. (I have a 10' double parachute hammock for reference.) This is an easy enough fix though, I'm just going to cut some length off the bolts and then they should be golden. The second note is really more of a suggestion for improvement for future models, and that would be to include a small bag of some sort to store the hardware in with the carry case so that the pieces aren't just loose in the bag and likely to get lost. I had an empty bag that used to hold tent stakes that works perfectly for this.Again, those two things are very minor. Still gets a five-star review from me for being easy to assemble/take apart, comes with convenient carry case that is plenty big enough, and seems very sturdy.
