Exactly what I ordered
Using this for diy stove/heater and replacement wick for oil/kerosene lamps. It's too thick for lamps though. You'll need eighth inch for that. Quality material with lots of uses.

TomCat alcohol stove
Bought this for 2 purposes:1). To protect surfaces during plumbing projects, ie soldering copper pipes.2). To use as the wick inside a Fancy Feast can, surrounding a tomato paste can, for a small, homemade alcohol back pack stove.[works perfect, by the way - check em out on YouTube].

Didn’t buy to weld
I bought this material for its wicking properties. Made an alcohol burner with it and it worked great. I have a few more projects to use this for it’s wicking. Looking for power outage heat?
