I love Dill Weed not just for the flavor but it contains numerous vitamins and minerals that support bone growth and regeneration, including iron, calcium, riboflavin, and vitamin D But back to cooking. I use fresh dill weed when I make homemade tartar sauce, in potato salad, fresh cumcumber salad, on fish (baked/fried). It is the back note of a flavor that we often taste in restaurant prepared dishes and can't seem to put our finger on the flavor - well it is dill weed.

Well-sealed container of dill weed. Standard large sized bottle, filled based on weight not volume. Dried dill can be subtle in flavor, so I find that for best flavor plan to give it time to infuse into whatever it is being used in. Smells good and fresh. No concerns or issues.

Mccormick is always high quality. Was afraid it might be old or expired coming from a warehouse, but it is very strong and fresh!

Product is very fresh and very flavorful. I found that I don't have to use as much as normal.

Love this dill. Not crumbly or powdery. Fresh tasting Add to sour cream, granulated garlic, ground pepper and Beau Monde (celery flavors) w a hint of water to make a quick vegetable dip or topping for microwaved potato rings (add scissored green onion bits on top of dressing). Great for office lunch or home. I bought 1 bottle for each location. Good price. 5 stars .

I only buy McCormick spices. I do a lot of cooking and want a spice that I can count on. We were having trouble finding dill in our local grocery store. I am not sure why this would be. Enter Amazon. I normally would not buy a jar this big because I want fresh spices, but that is all I could find. I use a lot of dill at this time of year. I use it to marinade fish and to make a sauce that we use on fresh tomatoes and cuccumbers to name a few uses.

I love dill like a freak but even I concede it will take me months to finish this whole container. Best to keep it in the refrigerator to keep it fresh. Nothing is worst than stale, dried out dill that been sitting in the pantry for years on end.
