I added to my diet Pepsi which I thought I had ordered cherry Diet Pepsi but got plain. It didn't seem sweet enough at first but after it sat awhile it tasted better. I have only tried the one time because I don't drink soft drinks often. I*t was not bad tasting I just felt I needed to add a package of softener. The price was good so I feel I can work with it.

Recently, for some reason I decided to start making my own limeade. Using a lemon-lime soft drink and some lime juice I needed to add cherry juice but it is difficult to find. I stumbled across this and decided to give it a try. I am extremely picky about certain things but I must say this syrup is great. It is not a thick syrup and the bottle recommends two tablespoons but I found, for me, one tablespoon was plenty. It's a pretty big bottle so should last me a while and since it needs to be refrigerated that's not a problem. I have also used it in making a cherry coke and it was delicious. There are quite a few recommendations on the bottle including coffee. Hmmmm, not for me. Seriously though I am glad I gave this a try and plan on using it regularly.

I agree with many of the other reviews. I purchased this to use with my Soda Stream machine, because I cannot find good old fashioned cherry soda anywhere. It is delicious, but I need to use quite a bit to get the flavor/strength that I want. With the calories that come with the measurement that it suggests being a little on the high side for my comfort, I know I am getting more calories from sugar to get it the way I really like it. So, I add it to my cola syrups to add a cherry taste, instead of enjoying just a pure cherry soda. I do recommend it for people that want cherry cola's, but not for cherry soda only.

I originally ordered this as I wanted to make “Cherry Dr.Pepper Pulled Pork”.Cherry Dr Pepper has been difficult to locate in my area ever since the stupid pandemic!! It’s been hit and miss. Since I had my heart set on Cherry Dr. Pepper, this was the next best thing. Better yet, I’m able to add as much Cherry Syrup as I want!!! I also figured since it has “Hires’” name on it, you can’t go wrong!! I recommend this to anyone wanting a TRUE Cherry soda taste that’s better than grenadine or any other flavored syrups.

I bought this with the hope that I could make the Cherry Cokes that I used to buy at the 5 and 10. It has an edge to the taste that shouldn't be there and the cherry taste is weak. The old drug store version was pumped out in a thick syrup. This is liquid; hence some of the problem. The edge on the taste is also a problem. This is simply a poor imitation of the old classic, as is cherry coke. Coke simply needs to at least increase the amount of cherry by at least 4 times.

Been looking for something to make the old cherry cokes with. This isn’t it.
