It seemed overpriced when you can get a pack of 8 or more for the same price. But the quality assures me I made a worthy purchase. My dog chewed up my snaps of my favorite snapback, which has sentimental value because my dad got it for me at our first Spurs game together. So I didn't want to cheap out and get a low quality snap. This snap looks great, feels smooth, no rough edges so it doesn't scratch my forehead when I wear it backwards, and was easy to install. My only complaint would be the video they sent me to help install it. It looks very dated and was not that helpful. I just used some common sense to sew mine in. Other than that I'm satisfied 👍🏼

This "fix-it" item came right on time. I had the ball-cap fixed in short order. Used an "Exacto" razor blade to cut the sewing threads on the old one and had my mom run a stitch over the new ones in a matter of minutes. Wallah---favorite custom hat fixed. The straps were a tiny bit wider that the old straps (it was on my little boys hat, maybe that's why), but it wasn't an issue, perhaps 1-2 mm wider. I did think it was a bit pricey for just one strap, but I wanted it in a hurry, so I can't really complain. Total bill was just under $10 bucks including shipping for one repair strap. I used this company because they had good ratings, I like a sure thing.

Dog thought my favorite hat was a chew toy... I was so bummed to lose the hat and have to sacrifice him to the hat gods, BUT THEN I discovered this Replacement Strap and pulled that sucker back outta the trash (the hat not the dog). A few days later I was putting it on, pretty easy process, and it's as good as new.

This was almost an exact replacement for my broken snap. Great quality. I knocked off a star for the cost. Seems a little pricy for a single snap when for the same price you could get a bunch from China.

Needed to replace the snap back on my son’s team cap, took less than 5 minutes for me to seam rip the old broken pieces out and sew these new ones back in the same place. Sewing through the plastic with my sewing machine was surprisingly easy - no problem at all! I don’t think I would recommend sewing these by hand though as I think it would be much more difficult, if you don’t have a sewing machine find a friend who does - it will take them 2 minutes and save you your favorite cap! ; )

Product is fine once you figure out how to install the straps into the back of your baseball cap. Customer service is horrible. I left 2 phone messages and 2 emails asking as to how you install the straps the other day. Still have not had a response back yet from Stonebridge. The Amazon page says the Company provides a video on how to install the straps. No working video on the Snapback Replacement item page on Stonebridge's website. I finally Googled this item this morning and found a video on You Tube showing how use a glue gun to install it. Seems like this is someone's part-time company.

Obviously they will need to be sewn in good thing I have heavy duty sewing machine This would be impossible to do by hand and there are no clues that would adhere the plastic to fabric and have it last. Would have been nice to have had some sort of instruction insert to give a little guidance.

Great way to save the day after your dog has chewed the others off your husband's favorite hat.
