so happy to find this and not have to replace the whole unit. Works well right out of the box.

These seem to last only about 5 years. My old one was failing and I ordered a new one, which arrived next day. It works very well, no set up problems, hopefully it’ll last forever.

Its rated ok because it fails slowly. This is my third unit and I have found that the other two lost operating features little by little. This new remote will not hold the water temperature in memory between each usage. Not to worry because soon another feature will fail but the unit will still be mostly usable. I expect this units features to fail with time and that after about a year the unit will need to be replaced. I replaced unit #2 after it failed to turn off and I had to either unplug the AC or wait quite a long time for the water to turn off. I gave this item 3 stars because it is what I expected. I expect that it has a design life average of 12 month and that half of the units will fail enough to be unusable within the 12 months and the other half will still be usable longer but with failed operating features. I am entirely satisfied with the toilet seat that has worked perfectly for several years.

This remote behaved exactly as my original remote. PERFECT. The only thing is, I thought the original had died when It started doing weird things with the "her front" button. That's why I ordered another remote. So...it turns out the new remote has the same problem. It acts the same -- phooey. But in all fairness, I cannot fault the replacement remote. It works wonderfully if you take into account that its probably the TOILET SEAT acting up. At least I found that out. And on the good side, the best parts still work, and I now have two perfectly good remotes. The Intelliseat is wonderful. Can't do without it!

I ordered this because the one that came with the original Intelliseat quit working, replaced the batteries a couple of times and still no go. So I got this and tested it out immediately to make sure it was the remote and not the bidet itself that had failed. Sure enough it worked just like the original did. On a whim, I took the new batteries that came with this remote and put them in the old remote, and guess what - it started working too. After some investigating and cross-examination, it turns out my son was putting his used-up AA batteries back in the new battery drawer, hoping I wouldn't notice how many batteries he was using on his RC stuff. So now I will deduct the price of this unneeded remote from his allowance :). Great work, kid!

I bought this replacement controller in April 2019. It is now September 2020, and it has stopped working. I paid about $35 for the replacement that I have, but Amazon sellers are now listing it for more than $60. Does the word "ripoff" come to mind?

Worked great out of the box no fuss no delay, can't think why I put up with the broken on for so long.

Bought this for my elderly mother to replace her non-working remote, about a month ago. This one looks exactly the same and works perfectly so far.

I wish the one that came with the toilet seat didn't just stop working one day, but this replacement has been working flawlessly since then.
