Organically bound selenium from l-selenomethionine. Important trace mineral for function of the antioxidant enzyme glutathione peroxidase protecting against free radical damage, especially in cell membranes. In this role, Selenium supports and protects immune function, and plays a role in the development and function of white blood cells.
