The perfect warm weather partner The Keen Whisper Women's Walking Sandals feature technologies that make water filled days supremely comfortable with its washable polyester webbing upper and CMEVA (compression molded ethyl vinyl acetate) midsole meaning the sandals feel comfortable and supportive in the upper and cushioned and protected underfoot. Added to this a lace capture system which allows for a comfortable and secure fit and you have a sandal that is a must have for any warm day filled with both water and land based activities. For added comfort and support, Keen employ hybrid-ology in the form of a metatomical EVA footbed. This is an anatomically designed internal support mechanism which provides support for the arch and metatarsals and cradles the natural contours of the foot. Metatarsals + anatomical = metatomical. Enhanced traction underfoot is achieved through a multi-directional lug pattern on the outsole which ensures you stay stable over rough terrain or or wet rocks.

Poor fit with little flexibility to adjust.
After researching quite heavily into a new pair of walking sandals I decided to try these based on the number of positive reviews. Sadly, they were tight at the top of the laces with very little ability to widen the gap.I fully loosened the laces but they didn't really alter the fit much, especially at the back of the sandal. Although just trying them on, they felt OK, I felt that once I'd worn them for any period of time, they would become uncomfortable and would no doubt pinch.Very disappointing really. I've had similar style sandals that were able to adjust the fit in a number of ways to make them comfortable, these did not.I've gone back to my Hi-tec sandals, much comfier, more flexible fit, hard wearing and £50 cheaper!

Good quality shoe that protects your toes
Having had a pair of Keen sandels that had lasted over 6 years of heavy use, and still functional though tatty looking. I decided to invest in another. These new sandals are smaller than my old ones for the same size and much narrower. I have slim feet so this isn't a problem, though could be for others. The grips also appear to have changed are not as deep as my old pair so will be interesting to see how they wear.Haven't yet taken them for a long walk so have not been able to award 5 stars.

Still comfortable but...
These are my second pair of Keen Sandals. I love my first pair and lived in them over summer for 4 years now until they have almost come apart. These pair are just as attractive and I'm pleased with them although the instep is tighter compared to my last pair. Unfortunately there's also some left-over glue on one of the edges that can cause rubbing. I've managed to remove most but not all and the best solution for now is to wear socks.

Rubbish for Keen's
worst pair of Keen's I've ever had and I've been buying Keen foot ware for at least 15 years. They were advertised has having the Keen metatomical footbed, they don't. Comfortable when I first put them on after about an hour they started to pinch at the sides, they don't have the arch support I expected. Probably the reason they were so cheap for Keen's, these are bargain basement and not up to scratch.

Stylish and Sturdy
It has taken me a long time to spend this kind of money on a pair of sandals but these Keen ones are worth it. They are very hard wearing, last for years, stylish and remain intact on the top of the sandal for a long time, unlike most cheaper sandals.

narrow
Nice shoe, nice colour but too narrow compared to other keen products

Very comfortable sandals
These are the best walking sandals I have had. They fit very well, do not move on the foot. The sole has a good grip, and they are very light. The footbed is well fitted and gives good support.

Love Keen Whispers
I have bought several pairs of Keen Whispers over the years. I wouldn't be without a pair (or two). Really comfy for walking even without socks.
