I bought this humidifier when the humidity level in our house dropped below 29%.I bought this and immediately noticed how quiet it was. The humidifiers I remembered from childhood were clunky and LOUD, but this one is practically silent. I was worried the spray would damage our hardwood floors or furniture, but the mist is very fine and almost "dry." If you run your hand over the mist, you don't get water droplets on your hands. A full tank will last over 12 hours on the medium setting.I've run the device almost constantly since I bought it, and the humidity on our smart thermostat has increased to 40%. The thermostat and the humidifier are in the same room, so I doubt the whole house humidity is effected. Also, a lot of the change may have to do with weather, but I believe this humidifier has made a difference.The essential oils port works well. The scent doesn't last very long (maybe an hour or so), but you really don't want to overload this port with oils. I recommend dumping out the water from the essential oils port before putting more in, so the oil stays on the sponge and doesn't overflow in the device.The only real "flaw" is that the cap to the essential oils port is difficult to remove. The plastic fits very tight over the port, and you need to clean the rim often so you can remove the cap easily.

Bought this humidifier in 2019. Was shopping for another humidifier on Amazon today and couldn’t help but notice all the bad products offered these days, with complaints of malfunctions or that they quit working after a few months. I just wanted to say that this machine has been working flawlessly for the past 2 plus years, is super quiet and very easy to clean. If it has a drawback, it’s that the control pad is difficult to use, as you only know it’s changing settings when you hear a quiet little beep. Also, no remote, but for this price range , that’s not really expected. It looks like this is now manufactured by Mikikin (cool mist humidifier ultrasonic) and used to be Bayka. I can’t promise it’s made to the same quality level, but the images show it to be exactly the same. Hope this helps someone find a dependable product in today’s world!

We bought four of these for our house.Plus Column:- Very easy to fill. With three children who sometimes want to solve their own issues, humidifiers that need the tank to be turned upside down to fill are an obvious potential problem. This doesn't have that, and the filler hole is big enough that a 'glug' from a water bottle won't spill.- Huge reservoir. A gallon fills it almost perfectly. Since water often comes in gallons, that's a good thing.- Does a great job. These really do a good job of humidifying the room, without dripping condensation everywhere.- Attractive. The black shape kind of disappears in the corner of the room.- Easy to use. The kids love messing with the button, and trying to get it to where they like it.Minus Column:- They use a lot of water, even on the low setting. One of ours uses half a gallon a night on low. That's a lot.- Not entirely consistent. This is the first humidifier that we've had four of, so I don't know how consistent other brands are. In addition to the one mentioned above, another one only goes through about a quart a night on low. Also, the sensitivity of the button varies from one to the other. One of them is almost too sensitive, and another requires a hard push (which can be difficult to get to 'light off' mode).- One of ours started occasionally 'wheezing' when less than half full. A sharp tap on the top stops it, but other humidifiers have done the same thing. I suspect something with the fan motor. I am concerned that it will continue to get worse, instead of better.These are minor dings, and I like these humidifiers overall.

I have owned this now for 3 months. I have not had any issues with the tank leaking like some reviewers have had. I fill the tank up with it sitting inside the base. I think what may be happening is that the tank is closed together at the bottom with adhesive. Maybe if you fill the tank up outside the base, the water is putting too much pressure on the bottom of the tank, causing leaks. Anyway, I didn't want to risk it and I haven't had any problems with leaks.The one issue I have noticed is this: If you use essential oils, the top cap where the steam comes out will stick to the tank. It must be some chemical reaction in the oils, but it fuses the black cap of the tank to the tank itself. It is very difficult and will require a lot of force if you usually press that black cap down. My advice: If you use essential oils, do not press the cap all the way down to prevent it from fusing.

This has a large capacity tank that runs me 1-2 nights at the highest setting without refilling. It’s very quiet; the only sound is that of the mist and it’s sooo calming. Incredibly easy to clean!! This is the primary reason I chose this machine: I didn’t want a filter which I would to continue buying replacements for and I wanted a tank that I could easily clean and that was see-through since this water tank is close to the window/sun exposure. I searched high and low for a device that would meet my specifications at a modest price point - and this is it! The color is chic and blends well with my decor. It’s not too large for a personal humidifier and is very effective at maintaining moisture in the air in my very dry, cold climate. I haven’t used the diffuser option yet, but it’s straightforward. I would definitely recommend this machine and purchase again (especially if there is a coupon available!) well worth the money.The only thing to watch out for is the air entry at the back of the machine which may need to be dusted occasionally depending on your environment however this is super easy to do.Overall I’m pleased.
