Inside Out Box of Mixed Emotions Hardcover – Picture Book, May 5, 2015

This book is very good and I like it a lot. Some parts were very sad and it made me laugh. Then it was scary and I laughed some more.

My 7 year old really enjoyed this story, saying it made her laugh. She liked me using different voices for the emotions. She's hoping there's another book with characters from the 2nd movie since this just had the ones from the 1st movie.

DD was able to read it, thought it was cute story with funny lines. Passes at a good clip too yay

My daughter loves these books, and so far they seem to go everywhere with her! The books are well written, good illustrations, and will be great for when she read by herself. She can pick out specific words in the books, but makes up her own stories based on the pictures.Each book leads into another, with the last page introducing the next character. I liked the contrasting emotions about certain things, like why sadness likes rain, and how Joy loves it for different reasons.

Good exploration of our emotions for kids. My 7 year old son….and I lol, loved it!

This book is great for your little one who is an Inside Out fanatic like my son! The words are simple enough where my son can understand and follow along. There are 5 books in this set (one designated for each emotion). Also the books are short enough where we can read the whole set or just one book depending on his attention span. Each book is written in the point of view of the emotion, which I thought is really cool! That way, I can explore the different aspects of emotions with my little guy.The books were well made. The cover is hardcover/durable and the pages are very thick. The illustrations are very nice too.I highly recommend this book!

My daughters didn't care much for the movie but ended up loving the books. I have a 3 year old and a 1 year, our family is focusing on teaching them to identify their emotions and the emotions of their friends in an attempt to begin to build empathy and more complex thinking about their big reactions and emotions. The books are simple, hold their attention and have begun to become part of the conversation when BIG emotions happen. They are a nice tool for us.

My son absolutely LOVED these books! We saw them at my daughter's book fair - my son's eyes lit up and stayed focused on them while we waited for a group of kids to move so we could reach them. A mom swiped them right as he was reaching for them, looked at him, and then walked away. Rude. I pulled up Amazon on my phone and bought them for $6 less while still standing in the book fair. :DHe LOVES these books - we pull them out according to his feelings, or sometimes according to mine. They're probably our most well-loved books in our children's library.

Eine nette Serie - die Kinder (2 und 5 Jahre) finden die Bücher lustig und es macht spaß sie zu lesen.

Books are very cute, coloured and usefull. I use them for my emotional skills training

Been one of my 4 year old daughters favourite books. Each night she chooses one based on how she is feeling that day or at least at the time and we get to go through together, then we set which emotion she wants to be the next day showing at the front.

These books are a lovely companion piece to the Inside Out film that will help parents, educators and those working with children help them recognize and accept a full range of emotions.
