Works like it should

A sturdy yet flexible drain line. It is stretchy so you can put a little tension on it to hold a certain slope without sagging. Installed about 300 feet in 8 runs.

A little flimsier that anticipated but it worked. Now that I'm thinking about it, I could've used a garden hose for the same purpose which might last longer but who knows..

I needed about 50 feet to go through my attic and this accomplished the job!

I considered all sorts of tubing types for my Mitsubishi mini-split configuration. It ultimately came down to needing a tubing that wouldn't collapse or kink when exiting the exterior wall and making a sharp 90 degree bend downward. I think there is a reason why this type of corrugated tubing is most commonly used.

not quite like the picture. The picture makes it look more like the flexible conduit which is thicker and more durable. That being said it should hold up better than the one that comes with the original un it. my original mdry rotted in about 2 months. This should last longer as it appears sturdier.

This is better than using a rigid PVC pipe as this hose is smaller OD and fit easier in the line set hind cover. It's also easy to cut and cheaper.I have one very thick wall (air handler mounted on a soffit + this 5" wall) and so the air handler short drain hose is not long enough to protrude outside the exterior wall. using this flex hose and add some silicone glue to the joint to extend the drain hose to ground.
