Sure Get One (Or A Few), But Curb Your Enthusiasm
Hi.I'm here to help you manage your expectations.Bought several as gifts quite a while back, and have been able to track their useful life since then.Yes, this is exactly the blade length, blade/grip color, grip, lock, and easy-open mechanism you see advertised. No, it not comparable to even an entry level Gerber or Kershaw.Use it for kicks, and definitely as a spare tool for the glovebox in your car- just in case. After all, the window smasher and seat-belt cutter are included for that reason- in the event you need to break OUT of a car that has flipped or is quickly sinking in deep water.Frankly, for the price, I don't know why you wouldn't get on of these for that purpose. And perhaps to use as a burner blade on wood crafts like whittling (MWGA!)- you can always sharpen this. But if you need to field dress an animal, or think you might need to do defensive blade work- look elsewhere. This simply does not have the ability to withstand intense lateral shear.Either the main pivot point will break (if you're lucky).Or the blade itself will break (if you're unlucky). Now you know. And, well... knowing is the half the battle.

OK/Decent Budget Option
The media could not be loaded. I’ve recently become interested in knives, and I wanted something for edc (everyday carry) and for defense if needed.First and foremost, I wouldn’t really recommend knives for self defense, mace/pepper spray would be more ideal, because you’ll have range. I carry both knife and mace.Off the bat, I thought the knife was visually appealing. I like the shape and the full black color. It has a stealth look to it.The knife has some texture on the handle for grip, and my grip overall on the knife is acceptable. It can still be a little slippery though, I did drop once. The clip on the back is sturdy and it adds to the grip on the handle. There’s some sort of smooth placements on the handle, which looks like finger grooves. I think it’s a nice addition but depending on finger and hand size, it may be of no use to you.The knife has some weight, but it’s not overbearing to me. For me, it is a little big in my hand, but I have small hands.Opening the knife is pleasant and easy, but you may have to give it a slight flick to really have it spring open.Closing, however, isn’t that great. Maybe it’s just this knife, or my small hands, but you really need a lot of GIVE to close it. I struggle closing it with one hand, and I really have to apply pressure when I close it with my other hand. This is a thing with spring assisted knives, or Perhaps the torx screw is too tight. Maybe I need to break it in a little. As I said before, my hands are small so that may be a contributing factor of me struggling to close it with one hand.I’m also not expecting to it to easily close either, but compared to other knife brands, this one doesn’t really have that much of a smooth closing.Of course, the blade is sharp and I cut some paper for you to see. The glass breaker at the end is a cool edition, hopefully I never have to use it. I’m not sure how effective it is, but it kind of gives me an ease of mind knowing I have the option if I needed it. Same with the seatbelt/rope cutter.Overall, for tactical and defense reasons, camping/bushcraft, or for beginner knife collectors, I think this is an OK option. I wouldn’t necessarily consider this an edc (everyday carry) for everyday simple tasks. I mean, you CAN use it for everyday tasks, but I would look at Civivi Knives for more of an edc.One more thing. I have had knives from MTech that had the tip of the bade chip, or the serrated edge chip from tasks. The steel for these knives aren’t considered the best, so be weary of that.In conclusion, I think this is an OK budget option. For $10 you can definitely have piece of mind for using this knife for simple tasks, like cutting open boxes, rope, string, shaving wood, thin branches, and for some possible self defense. I like the tactical design, the glass breaker and seatbelt cover adds more ease of mind, and this is a great budget knife. I’m sure it will last a long time, with non heavy tasks. If you’re looking to use this every single day, for heavy use on trees, fishing, hunting, etc, I would recommend something a bit better.

Razor sharp
I’ve been using this for almost a year now and it’s my everyday carry with my firearm! I was able to get this razor blade sharp and feels good in my hand while using it and l have big hands too. Has the hook end for cutting seatbelts which is nice but once I got it razor sharp l don’t need that seatbelt cutting end.

Great scary knife for protection
I got one of these from another site a few years ago and really liked it but it was kind of expensive due to it being used for giveaway purposes. So it cost like $40. When I found it on here for around 11 dollars it was a no-brainer so I bought two more. I keep them in each of our vehicles just in case and for opening packages and stuff like that. I think if anybody sees you holding that thing they'll walk the other way so I think it's a good deterrent in some cases. I like the weight and ease of opening the knife. I also like the fact that it has the seat belt cutter and glass breaker built into it. It's heavy but in a good way.
