Blanco Linus Pullout Kitchen Faucet

We recently did an Undermount in new countertops. It fits nicely. It looks great, but we have not used it yet.

I have always had trouble keeping a stainless steel sink clean. No matter what I did, it always looked dull. And don't get me started on porcelain, which everything and anything leaves a stain, which requires constant scrubbing. This sink is the best sink I've ever had. Not only is it very nice looking & durable, but it's easy to clean and STAYS clean for a long time. Even when it's due for a cleaning, if I run my finger along the surface, it doesn't feel gunky and gross like a regular sink does.

I saw this sink at the plumbers showroom. Thought it was beautiful and would go well with the new counter tops. Was just the size I wanted. Some of the reviews indicated there had been problems with shipping and the sink arriving broken, but I figured the seller had corrected that problem so I went ahead and ordered it. It arrived earlier than expected, but the sink was cracked in several places. Very disappointed, plus the seller did not allow for UPS pick up for return. There was no way I could get this heavy product to a UPS store so I had to pay for UPS to pick it up. All in all a huge disappointment. Did not re order, but purchased locally.

The Cafe Brown Blanco sink looks absolutely perfect with the Giallo Ornamental granite. My previous (Corian) sink had one super large side and a smaller side which I liked immensely, but I was a bit hesitant about the Blanco because the dimensions were vastly different and the small sink is very small. Well, after having it for two months, I can honestly say I love the design. The depth of the bowls is perfect. The small side has a garbage disposal installed, which I very rarely use; I use the small sink to drain hand-washed items. The left side is so large that I can easily set a cookie sheet, or the outdoor grill grates flat in order to wash. I splurged and got the coordinating Blanco waste basket strainer and stopper - and don't regret it. Having an oil-rubbed bronze faucet, I didn't think any other strainer would look as nice, and I was right. I also have the Blanco 221011 Diamond Stainless Steel Sink Rack to protect the largest bowl which eases my mind that the sink will remain scratch free. I'm not meticulous about drying the sink, but usually rinse it with water and once a day wash it out with Dawn dish soap and a sponge or rag. The sink cleans very easily.

We bought this sink for our last house when upgrading to granite counters. Under-mounted, it looks great. Now a few years later, we just bought this one for a new house we're building. We paid about 2/3rds the price through Amazon than through local dealer. Delivery was rather amazing, about 36 hours from time of order. We like the smaller disposal side, which is wider in other versions. This maximizes the main bowl so you can put good sized pans in there, and you can stand up items in the disposal side for drip/dry. It' really personal preference. The surface is tough, we had no scratching at all. I don't know what to say about the breakage issues commented by others, we had none. The anthracite is not jet black, but it can still show some white water marks, depending on your water. Blanco has a special cleaner, but my wife sometimes uses CeramaBryte. As for installation, the bowls are pretty deep, particularly if under-mounting, so if retrofitting a shallow sink, check where your current drain goes into the wall. With the flanges, it is big, check the specification sheet for cabinet size requirements. Also, skip black strainer baskets and drain fittings, it looks best with brushed stainless steel or pewter.

I've been using this sink for about 2 weeks so far, and so far, so good. BUT... I did have to order it THREE TIMES! The first time, my order was canceled and refunded. The second time, the sink arrived damaged. The third time was the charm and it was installed undermount by the countertop folks. The sink does seem to hold onto some "yuk" at the waterline after letting it drain, so that needs cleaning, but that's probably a good thing to remind me to do that more often. The size of this 70/30 sink is excellent! Nice and deep, so I love it.

I thought this was the greatest sink ever made. I was -- and somewhat still am -- totally in love with it. But it has one serious, and misleading in my opinion, flaw. I thought the "Silgranit" would be a solid material throughout, OF THE SAME COLOR. In other words, if you have a small chip or an area that sees wear from use and cleaning, the underlying material would be the same color (white, in my case). So chips wouldn't show and the sink would have virtually an endless life. Instead, the color coating is a relatively thin veneer over a base that is tan-beige (in my case). With the *slightest* chip (photo #1) or once you've worked through the top layer that base shows through. Also, we have a couple of areas (photo #2) where no amount of Bar Keepers Friend and time (a truly remarkable product!!!) have been able to diminish a dull stain that is also reminiscent of the base color showing through. This could be the result of too thin a veneer of the color layer. So, while I absolutely love the design and functionality of this sink, and have recommended it to everyone I know, I'm now disappointed in this aspect of seemingly limited longevity. I wish they would produce it with a solid color Silgranit throughout!

I love this sink! I wanted a large bowl and this one fits the bill. My long handled frypan, large pots, or my roaster fit easily for hand washing. The small sink is perfect for washing fruits or veggies, or long handled cooking utensils that don’t fit easily into the dishwasher. It would be perfect if you want to connect a garburator. The only negative is it shows water spots so to avoid that, I just wipe it dry after use.
