Best dried Papaya I’ve ever had. Hard to find sugar and sulphite-free papaya. I normally don’t write reviews, but kudos to this company for getting this right. It’s moist and ‘meaty’, not dry and flavorless. The strips are a good size, you feel like you get your money’s worth. Taste like they are quality papaya and not rejects ;) They smell and taste clean, the color is even vibrant (not like the ‘orange glow stick’ papaya normally spotted in bulk section in grocery stores). This is not dense and starchy like other dried papaya I’ve had. Thought 1 lb was a lot but they are hard to put down once you start snacking. Would highly recommend.

I liked the taste and quality of this papaya. I used it to feed my bunny and keep his gastrointestinal tract moving and free of hair and keep the hay moving through. He always enjoyed it.

I ordered this and did not take careful note of the description. I was expecting small chunks to include in my trail mix. So that was my fault, because the description does not say chunks. However what I received was long, hard, thin pieces of sliced papaya too tough to chew. It is worse than jerky. It was too sticky to include in my smoothies and difficult to cut up. I used scissors to cut it into smaller pieces and tossed it in the compost. It smelled good and was clearly a natural product. I have ordered other foodstuffs from this company and have been satisfied by the brand and will continue to buy from them- just not papaya.

Like eating beef jerky - very chewy. Taste is good, too.

Thanks for offering the product. I would not buy it again. The flavor is good, but the smell is not. They are also tough to chew.

It was very nice, not to sweet. I used it as dry fruit snack.

This might be a life saver for me. I read somewhere that papaya can save lung issues. It seems to work.

I thought the mildew was just on the outside of the bag so I emptied the contents into a large zip bag.I ate one piece - the flavor was pretty good but it was absurdly chewy - not sure I would want to put that kind of chewing effort into eating anything.The second piece - smelled of mildew.I tossed both bags - there goes $40+ dollars <insert unhappy face here>. I would have returned it but given the state of the world with the pandemic of 2020....I'm not sure a return of a mildew dried papaya falls under the necessary travels guidelines.
