Custom Accessories Chrome Skull Style License Plate Fasteners

Beautiful accessory, and ridiculously cheap too. Easy installatuon and comes with two washers, a hex nut and a lock nut. I strongly recommend you invest in some loctite to keep the skulls on as they can come off! Preferably the high strength loctite. On the flip side this gives you the freedom to swap the skulls out for something else later. Also, the threads dobappear to be stainless steel. If so that means they will not rust. Even if they do...$5 for the set! That is half the price I paid for the god awful Bell security bolts.

Fits good, looks good however, the design to install is a little weird. The shaft screelwa have indentations for a flat screw driver but if installing in a tight space or where a screwdriver won't fit it's hard to install. Used some loctite where the screw in goes into the skull and it worked fine. They look awesome.

I ordered these pair of Skull License Plate Fastners to dress up a new license plate frame. They are as I expected for the price. The appearance new is very good. The skull portion feels very cheap and light. I can't tell if they are plastic or very light weight metal but they do include two washers, a lock washer and the nut to tighten on the bolt threads. The skull is threaded onto the included bolt shaft. I am using loctite so the skull cannot be just hand unscrewed from the bolt and taken off the vehicle. I am only using them to fill the two extra bottom holes on the licensed plate frame since the license plate and frame are mounted to my vehicle by the top of the frame only. I feel these fasteners will be adequate for this if they do not rust or degrade in appearance. I do not think I would use them to attach the plate and frame to the vehicle as they feel too light.

These chrome skulls fasteners look sick on my Harley XL 1200 Custom! Solid metal with locking washer to prevent from becoming loose. Reasonably priced and a good replacement for my lost missing bullet fastener! I paired 2 on top of my chrome license plate frame with 2 bullets on the bottom for a fantastic, custom plate look! Extreme buy and recommended!!

I had to remove the plastic factory plugs from the bumper to make these work which was no big deal. They are plastic, but I snugged them down with a wrench on the back and they didn't crack. The nuts are metric, so be prepared. I had to buy a 10mm wrench. But they look great with the skull license plate holder.

Really cool looking accessory...however the bolt was bigger than the holes on my license plate so I had to drill out the holes to a larger size to make this work. Only took a few minutes, so not a major hassle...once on it really looked great. Keep in mind that the skull heads are plastic, so I do not know how long they will last.

These will not screw into your existing holes in your vehicle for the license plate. You can use them for the bottom holes if they do not need to go into any thing behind it. but great look !!

I love the looks. One thing I did to avoid someone stealing them, I used loctite (blue 242) in the threads when I screwed the heads on.

Re-ordered these. First ones came in a nice "shelf display" package and were definitely NEW. Second order came in a zip lock bag and had rust dust covering. I do not believe that these are new. On the plus side the second set has stainless steel threaded rod, washers and nut. The previous set was cheap steel.

These bolts look great , the only reason I gave a three is because they do not fit the bolt holes in my vehicle... they are too large, maybe for a truck...
