Great Product!
When my doctor told me to start giving my baby Vitamin D drops, I went to the store and picked up the Enfamil brand. After looking over the ingredient list, I was shocked at the number of artificial colors and flavors in the vitamin drops. So I went on a search for something free of all that. I found this product and have loved it.Yest it's a bit oily, but it doesn't keep my 5-month-old from swallowing it. And I tasted it because I'm not going to give my daughter something I haven't tried. It doesn't have much of a taste to it at all.I've been very happy with this product and so thankful to find something not loaded down with artificial colors and flavors!

I didn't know how good these were until I tried the others
My infant likes these drops a lot, and my pediatrician recommended them. You can get 10% off an order of multiple bottles on the manufacturer's website. I wasn't thrilled about feeding my baby so much corn oil, but then I tried the Enfamil D Vi Sol--yuck! While my son will take the Enfamil drops straight from a medicine dropper, they have a very strong smell (and taste) and if I add them to food he won't eat the food. Can't say I blame him! This is not a problem with Just D, which has a very mild taste--you only taste the corn oil.

Disgustingly oily and hard to wash from bottles
This product requires a full dropper's worth of oil to meet the recommended dose. It's too much oil for me to squirt it into my baby's mouth--she hated it. I would squirt a dropperful into a bottle of milk and she would drink the bottle without complaint.Mommy complained, though. It's so much oil that the insides of the bottle looked quite greasy and had to be cleaned twice. Worse, that amount of oil degraded the silicone nipples I was using on my Dr Brown's bottles, and made them sticky and more opaque. I had to replace them about once a month. Yuck. I will not be buying this again. This much oil is totally unnecessary for the dose of Vitamin D it delivers. Try the Caslon drops that require only one drop for the exact same IU strength.

This doesnt sound like a lot until you have to forcefeed it
The volume the baby has to inject is 1 mL. This doesnt sound like a lot until you have to forcefeed it. The solution is oily- so if aspirated could be dangerous. You can place it in a bottle and give it to baby that way- but it does not mix with the milk/formula. It beads up like oil in water (I mix into breastmilk) There are other products that allow you to only administer a single drop that I feel are safer and easier to use

Awesome
Little expensive but if you buy in bulk it is worth it..be careful with this shipper..they like to send the product in an envelope and crush the packaging..other than that a five star...

Great drops for infants
These were recommended to me by my pediatrician to give my breastfed son in his bottles because both of us are D deficient. They dissolve in the formula or breastmilk easily, and the dropper is easy to use and well built. They don't really have a taste, just oil like. also, being that it's oily, they are great because the suppliment doesnt collect on the baby's bottles and washes off easily with no extra effort.

Great alternative to Enfamil's icky product
As our pediatrician recommended Enfamil's Poly-Vi-Sol when our son was 2 months old (a breastfed baby) we went out and promptly bought it, assuming it was the best thing out there. We were wrong! That product has artificial colors, flavors, extra vitamins they don't need, not to mention that if you taste it (I did) it kind of numbs your mouth!!So, we found these vitamin drops and besides the fact that they are oil-based (which my son doesn't love but he doesn't spit it out, either) these drops are perfect. Only what we need, and nothing artificial. I highly recommend these to anyone purchasing Poly-Vi-Sol who only needs the Vitamin D.
