About a couple of weeks ago I ordered a phone case that was not as up to par as it could have been. I decided to use it as a back-up case, and ordered this one. This ESR Mimic Series case is the real deal. When I opened it from the case, I liked how it ACTUALLY looked like the picture images shown on the Amazon page. It's very slim, but sturdy feeling, and the backplate FEELS like tempered glass. It is also, very much fastened firmly to the tough rubber gel-frame bumpers and sides. I messed with it before setting it on my phone, I mean, I pushed my thumb against it to see if there was ANY give, and it stayed firm in place. It feels tough, and not CHEAP. I've used it all week, and I've set it down on a rough porch table, and it hasn't scraped up or scratched on the back gel or plate, at all. I've dropped my phone twice, once from my car onto the tarmac parking lot at work, and it landed flat on its back, and it didn't shatter or scratch one bit. The other time it landed on the button side bumper, onto a hard tile floor, and I received no cracks or damage to the corners or side of the phone underneath. The pictures I've attached to my review were taken tonight, after work by a friend's phone. I wanted to show how sleek it looks on the phone, especially after all the unintentional abuse. But believe me, I WILL be much more careful, from now on, because I really like this case A-LOT. I have to admit that it really does feel slimmer and sleeker than the third party case I reviewed a week and a half ago. This is the slimline, durable, gel-case that you've been waiting for. 👍

Let's be honest...Nobody with a Note 10/10+ wants to cover up that "Aura Glow," LOLThe worst thing about having smartphones is the cases. We pay all this money for awesome little pocket computers and then have to bulk them up and cover up their sleekness to protect them...but not with this!I love this case. I love that my hands feel glass on the back and rubber on the sides. I keep forgetting its on, though, because its so lightweight. It's about as close to bare phone as you're gonna get. We'll see what happens when I drop it for the first time, but even if it does break (I mean, it's glass), they're so cheap I'll just order another. Besides, better the case than the phone!EDIT: Dropped phone (from about waist-high) onto concrete...NOTHING BROKE!! Phone case is intact except for one tiny scuff mark. Most importantly, the phone is still in perfect condition.EDIT #2: Well, it's March 2022...I've had this case almost a year, with no problems. The last picture I've posted, of the case shattered, recently happened when my dogs dropped my phone off the couch arm (about 4ft on to hardwood floors) as i was sleeping. My heart dropped when i woke up and saw this! As i gingerly peeled the case away, IMAGINE MY SURPRISE to find that my phone is completely intact! What a relief. So, again, i cannot say enough about this little phone case. It's by far the best case I've ever used on ANY phone, and I've tried wood, metal, rubber, etc etc. I will gladly repurchase this case as many times as i need, if it keeps my phone in perfect shape.

After seeing a few reviews saying the back was plastic, I was a bit worried about getting this case, especially when there is a $12 PC option available. Thankfully when I recieved it, it was indeed a glass/tpu hybrid. The glass is very thin and almost has a plastic feel but it is indeed glass. If toy look closely you'll see the familiar "grid pattern" that so many tempered glass screen protectors use to boost sensitivity. I think they repurposed screen protector glass as I see no need for the grid on the back. At least it's unnoticeable during regular use. Very slim fit with minimal protection but I feel the phone is already big, an otterbox type case would make this phone a monster. Overall it fits great, it's very clear and allows that beautiful aura glow shine through. I'd buy it again, especially after receiving an email from esr after I made the purchase. They explain a few key features and offer a nice unexpected bonus. I would give 5 stars if the glass would have been oleophobic, but it's still better at resisting fingerprints than the glass back of the note 10+. Excellent slim case other than that.*UPDATE 12/04/19*CASE YELLOWS VERY QUICKLY. Case started off crystal clear, unfortunately within a few weeks it has developed the famous yellow hue that clear cases are known for. Doesn't affect the use of the case, but it's a bit of a bummer to have the case discoloring so quickly. Will be looking into a different case soon.
